everytime i do the setup/installation, it stalls at the very last bar forever. it has the game .exe for like options and graphics but when i start up the game its just a black screen. please someone help me. ive tried installing it without goodies pack and it still always stops at a full blue bar and doesnt allow me to cancel. it just says "finishing installation". someone help me!

There is a readme, but all you need to do is put the .cfg file in the FF7 directory and it should work. It seems to work for me but the graphics are extremely blotchy and the music is very jumpy, anyone have any suggestions? thanks in advance.

@ #10 : It is an iso file. You will need PowerIso, Alcohol 120% or some other similar program to mount it first. Then move the files from the virtual drive into your hard drive before you can install the game.

Holy ****!!! Jordz1981 your a genious I had no clue my PS3 controllers worked on my Laptop (jus got it for christmas, its a VAIO with BluRay) that is one of the coolest crossovers ever. now I can play FFVII with the "proper" controller and Gears of War with a playstation controller lol. sorry about the uneeded comment but I have to give jordz props on that one. Now i jus gotta wait for the download to finish and pray it works.

chenzy111 - I don´t know what you exactly mean, but you can save only in game at Save point (in the field run into object shaped as "?" and aceress menu) or on world map. Did you ever played this game?

havent downloaded yet.... but im guessing its a compatability issue. the game wasnt originally intended for vista. GO TO THE GAME EXE (USUALLY C:\PROGRAMFILES\SQUARESOFT/FINALFANTASYVII) OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. RIGHT CLICK GAME EXE. GO TO COMPATABILTY AND TRY VARIOUS SETTINGS. LIKE RUN IN XP SP2 OR WIN 98. ok heres the thing ive installed ff7 ultima edition and ffdshow and the game worked fine but there is one problem when it switches scene or when it goes to a cinematic the game gets a bit laggy(graphic lag) sometimes it even closes the game without any error message it just goes to desktop and thats what im tryin to fix. i downloaded the updates for my ATI Radeon SAPPHIRE X300SE i downloaded ffdshow i switched to compatibility mode to win95 and 98 but it doesnt make a difference. please help

Guys for the ones that find some problems with the game like when fighting yuffie you should go google and try to find the patch for ff7 because in the computer original version are many bugs so google it and then install the patch it should be fine

anyone know how to fix it if the game works up til the cosmo canyon part where bugenhagen does the whole solar system speech. The game doesnt respond to any controls once the actual movie portion is done.

Comparing to playstation copy Sound Effects - The same (seem higher quality, a good thing in my eyes) Frame rate - much better (Far more frames in the character movement) Music - **** (low Quality MIDI instead of songs you hear in OST) Character Det - Great (much smoother polygons for the characters) Is in english too which helps. the game is either better or the same quality visually. but audio, the SFX havent changed, they appear to be more defined, but the Music isnt up to standard at all. its really **** annoying low quality MIDI. if you can look past the awful music then your onto a winner Unit out.

Hey, this is my first uTorrent download and I know nothing about the codes and everything so please be simple or very descriptive. It took me about a day and a half 2 download this torrent. I also have the newest Daemon Tools already downloaded. When I try to open it, it says "Unable to load "Final Fantasy 7 - Ultima Edition.iso": Not enough storage is available to process this command. !" I'm not sure exactly what I have to do. I've tried deleting A LOT of stuff off my computer... same message. Can n e 1 help?

mine works fine appart form the music stops sometimes during game and doesnt come back on untill i save and quit, any one know a solution. Also im playing it on my laptop with vista and i use my ps3 controller to play it.
