I bought the game and it had a HORRIBLE glitch with the movement. There was a second and 1/2 delay on any movement and this is was with the resolution of 800 x 600 with a core 2 due, 4 gigs ram, 8800 GT. Apparently a few people are having the same problem. I have it installed with the legit Serial key and Gamestop did take the game back since i printed out the E-Mail from the Support team stating they are aware of the problems, so all i need now is a No-CD crack. I dont think its going to happen anytime soon considering most people need the activation crack too.

Try a 1280x1024 resolution. The game will be awesome. I have a Quad Core, a 8800 GT and 2GB RAM. Should run sweet here. Try to do it. NEVER, I mean NEVER run a game with 800x600 resolution. It will just be a piece of sh**.

Charlie - what on God's Earth are you talking about? In the description of the torrent, it blatently states that it is only the ISO file and that no crack is provided and yet you state... "I have looked at details for this torrent and there is NO info or details about this game to be found by the uploader" I think you will certainly find when you goto "General information" that the uploader clearly states it is ISO only! And it is STUPIDLY obvious why you would download the ISO in advance, because when the crack finally (if it does) appears you can download a 4MB or so file and hey presto, you can play. Please please please in future actually think before you type.

Read the comments mate, it's just the installer that is Russian, not the game. Also to the guy going on about SecuRom. You know what will happen though don't know? The guys that crack it will have access to the files that make the game work, then they will crack the execute to make it think it has already registered and hey presto! Wooo, i make it sound so easy, and i bet it really really really isn't! lol Good luck guys!

I don't see why this hasn't been cracked yet, It has the exact same protection as Mass Effect, so surely it would just be a case of using the same technique to crack this People have been commenting about when they activate their legit version, a file size changes, ie, something is downloaded from the servers I dont know much about cracking and what not but surely, if they find out which file changes, then they should upload it, along with the .exe maybe that would work? =/

Hey guys i just finished downloading, so i wanted to install it but then i got an error! I used Deamon Tools to mount the file and the installer comes up, in Russian, but still so far so good! then i click next (i think, cuz its russian) and so on and then when the installation begins i get an error which i cant make out what it means cuz all russian, but in the error there is a red X! then i can click repeat or cancle, but repeating doesnt help cuz the same error comes up, it sux! Activation is not a valid win32 application. So it can't be opened. When i open Alone.exe it asks for serial. And the serial in de document doesn't work. When i try "manually activate" and put the serial in, it says that the code is wrong.

I have been very happy with the investment.. i say investment cause the price makes it an investment :x Nowadays Crysis with Very high settings AAx8 res. 1280x720 (Limited cause using 32" Hd-ready television as monitor, connected with HDMI-cable) runs smoothly.

i know what you mean about price. i recently went to upgrade my ****ty 7600 to an 8800 but after seeing the $300 price tag, i had to settle with a 8600gtx for $100 (personally thats not a bad deal overall, especially since its over clocked ) but really i don't know what the big dif. is between them so you upgrade slightly to a "crysis" supported card, big deal! i can still run the game on high settings so meh 2 you nvidia the only thing I'm lacking at the moment is a good processor. i have a dual core running at 1.88 a piece. not the greatest, but it gets the job done

Anyway, any word on the crack? Are any of the popular sceners working on it atm? So far i've seen it's not worth the "buy" yet. Which I did for MEPC( awsome game btw. my 4th playthrough now). I wonder if they will ever release a demo so we can be the verdict if the game really deserves a 3 based on the IGN review(which I kind of disagree with)

for the dude that has video lag in mass effect regardless of any resolution i had the same problem in Quake Wars....i had to turn off multi monitor performance mode in my nvidia control panel and change it to single monitor performance mode and it runs beautifully at max everything like its supposed to but before i was lagging bad at 640x480 -qx9650 core 2 extreme 3ghz, 3 gb ddr3 1600, bfgtech 8800gtx, velociraptor 300gb, phys-x processor

I looked on Atari web site to get a playable demo of the game, since i dont know what its about but could not find any demo. I get sick of buying games and you get home and play them and there shit !. Thats why i DL them now, Ive got a big pile of shit games that cost upto £50 a game that ive played for ten mins, And they never take them back for refund or a swap... So if Atari wont put a playable demo on there game then i wont buy it, So they wont make any money will they...

no, only installer is in russian, but game can be played in english. been doing some reading, and the game has SecuROM protection, but if they can get through Biochock and Mass Effect, and also Half-life 2 which required online Steam activation, then im sure they can crack this, only needs some time...

gaddamit, do you think that someone's miserable desire to play this videogame is more important than the existence of an entire corporation that is currently put on a bankruptcy process with an obligation to prove the certain amounts of profits in order for the bankruptcy controlling institution to take its patronage off?! just read out that crackers decided to hold up with the crack for the reason that Atari is on the bankruptcy process right now, and therefore it seems to be cruel to take the AITD profits away from them. thumbs up guys, completely support :)

true, the ratings were quite low, and atari even plans to sew some of the companies posting the reviews prematurely claiming that they were using the unreleased pirated or even an alfa version without receiving the direct copy meant for reviewing :D seems like the company is trying to get everyone down with them ^_^ and the only reason I am eager to own the game is in order to experience Silent Hill kind of excitement once again ;-)

Atari's not even gonna make much off this game its ratings aren't very good at all. I played it on 360 and it wasn't very fun at all. But that's just my opinion. :? Idk, but I don't see a crack coming for awhile kinda like Bioshock. Oh well..

well it is really annoing that first i loaded mass effect, it doesnt work at my pc, damn vista -.-..... now i loaded alone in the dark and now theres no crack and no serial. i hope that at the beginning of the weekend theres a working crack and a keygenerator.... but until then, i have to play call of duty 4^^.... xD!
