After enjoying a picnic with his long-suffering classmates, Bunter, the outrageous Fat Owl of the Remove, insists they take a short cut back to Greyfriars School through an estate, which is strictly out of bounds. Bunter gets separated from the rest of the boys and fails to appear for 'call-over' that evening. The scene is set for a sparkling series of twists and turns involving land-owner Sir Hilton Popper, a pimple faced thief Slim Judson, and Bunter's irascible form master Mr Quelch. They, plus the local police and the entire school, become involved in the hilarious mystery of Sir Hilton's missing postage stamp, the precious Blue Mauritius. There is even a rare but welcome appearance of Bunter's sister, Bessie. <br />

Bunter is up to his usual pranks; falling asleep in class, stealing jam and cakes from other boys' lockers, chalking rude things on the blackboard, getting six of the best from Mr. Quelch, failing to turn up for cricket, scuffling with the local vagrant and even being threatened with expulsion. Martin Jarvis brilliantly depicts Bunter and his famous five: Harry Wharton, Bob Cherry, Hurree Jamset Ram Singh, Frank Nugent and Johnny Bull plus many other colourful characters - not least dreaded schoolmaster Mr. Quelch! <br />

Money goes missing from the Head's desk drawer and the hunt is on for the money and the thief, with lashings of silly business and clumsy incidents along the way! The very rotund British schoolboy proves a hit with listeners yet again.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Billy Bunter’s Postal Order</span><!--bold--><br />
Billy Bunter is expecting a postal order from his uncle. At last he receives a letter from his uncle which he assumes contains the long-awaited postal order. However, before he gets a chance to open the letter, it is confiscated by his form master, Quelch. This triggers a whole sequence of hilarious events which almost leads to Bunter's expulsion from Greyfriars School. Martin Jarvis is in his element not only as a rip-roaringly funny Bunter, but also portraying the many other characters involved in the shenanigans giving each one an individual personality. <br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Bunter Does His Best</span><!--bold--><br />
Bunter, the creation of the comic writer Frank Richards, is a schoolboy who despite his silly, idiotic and clueless behaviour, often seems to be the champion of the hour. In this story, he is unwillingly drafted in to play football for the Remove team, which leads to the inevitable resignation of many of the existing members of the team in protest at Bunter's apparent uselessness.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Bunter Gets the Boot</span><!--bold--><br />
Christopher Biggins' narration subtly exploits the farce and pantomime of the rotters' and beasts' wheezes at Greyfriars. Billy Bunter is 'egg-spelled' for refusing to take the flogging he doesn't deserve and goes home gleefully - only to find life at home with his uncaring, disciplinarian father is even worse than at school. It's when he tries to return to Greyfriars that the fun really starts.<br />
