http://www.mininova.org/tor/1469967 just the cheatengine fix I uploaded too, here is more info Some more simple instructions are as follows. Download the files needed. 1. Install the cheat engine and load the other file. 2. Run ME and at the main menu alt tab to windows 3. Click the little computer icon in Cheat Engine on the top left. 4. Select Masseffect.exe press ok 5. Click on the lower section with tick boxes, ctrl A to select all, then press space so they are all ticked. 6. Go back to Mass effect, will take a sec to load, mine went black for a min 7. Load your game and then try the map, it should work!

I can confirm that it allows you to view the Galaxy Map without trouble, and continue to play the game past the point where everyone was stuck.

Still dont understand these instructions, do I need to scan? Or just tick on some box like fast scan,hyper scan, hex... because I dont see anything else to tick

launch the cheat program. open the MassEffect.ct file with it. run mass effect and at the menu tab out the icon of a computer with a magnifying glass in cheat engine is the one you want to press find the mass effect.exe in the list of apps running. In the bottom list of the cheat engine there should be a bunch of memory addresses with check marks beside them. Just check all the ones with no description then go back to mass effect. Thats all that needs to be done. If you are having problems with a fps drop every few seconds just adjust the increase the update/freeze/etc intervals in general settings of the cheat engine. dont need to scan or anything.

i get a general protection fault when i run the game, no matter what crack i use. i mounted with powerIso but i don't think thats the problem. any ideas?
