You might want to consider a more universal player such as the VLC player, I believe it's compatible with most OS systems, including LINUX and MAC. Been told by all, VideoLan is the best, no codecs or plug-ins needed. Good luck and have fun. ~DD

Do I need to burn to a disk? nope, u have done nothing wrong... its just simply becoz' WMP is crap! i'd never use WMP for any media file... unless its a file (WMV) that only works on the WMP. use the DivX player instead... or VLC, WinAmp, etc... i haven't tried VLC coz' i got DivX & Winamp. Using Winamp with a Codec pack allows u to play any file u want (like some .avi files which doesn't work on the DivX player).
