Hi All I just downloaded the torrent , extract the files and took the folder named "3000 photoshop filter collection" and place it at the filter folder in photoshop and deleted the file "Aliveglow" When i first opened the program , a window appeared telling "This application has failed to start because MSVCRT10.dll was not found. Re-installing may fix this problem" !! . After i clicked ok the program works fine with a registry problem in some filters & others want a serial number !!! When i closed and opened the program again , the same window that i pointed to first appeared and the program failed to open. By deleting the "3000 photoshop filter collection" from filters the program works well but without that filters plz sb tell me what shall i do ?? i want that filters and what's that msvrct10.dll file??

Hi Just go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\Filters\3000 Photoshop Filters collection\A and remove file named AliveGlow and everything should work fine.

Hi Nitrospill / cocoscot after glow or whatever is the name of the filter .... can U pls specify the name of the file ....is it ag.8bf or life.8bf or lg_cls.8bf or which file ? Please can U be specific. I do not see any afterglow.8bf nor aliveglow.8bf in the lot. Just do not want to end deleting the wrong file and keeping the one which needs to be deleted. Thanks for your help.

Install Photoshop Open Photoshop, Put in serial etc etc Close photoshop .. go to > program files\adobe\photoshop cs ?? download http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcrt10 and place that in that directory now go to plug-ins .. then filters and place in the full folder 3000 filters go to A > and delete alive glow now open photoshop and it should work .. well this is what i done and it was fine sorry if its wrong just trying to help

#2 Just go to Program Files then Adobe then Plugins. In that folder will be a Filters folder. Drag the filters in there. Make sure you scan the filters for trojans/virus!!

Someone please help, i added the filters as instructed and now my photoshop wont open, it freezes on startup. i deleted them from the folders but its still busted. HEEEEELP PLEASEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Hey tarabita: I was just thinking one thing you could try is to reset your settings/preferences. You can do this by holding the Ctrl, Alt, and Shift keys while opening Photoshop. A dialog box will open asking if you want to delete the preferences file. Hit 'Yes' and you will be set back to the original settings. If you're working on a Mac there is a way to do the same. @ psivius i tried what you said and it only opens the properties box my pc knowledge is unfortunatley quite limited so pardon my next stupid question.... CWlemon, to reinstall photoshop would i need to install it again with the cd and completely remove it from the comp? so should i remove it with (control panel then add and remove programs) and after this do i have to do evrything all over eg. keygen ect. i hope not i had a friend install it for me cause i dont only have a copied cd. thanks for the help

After loading, unraring and placing in adobe plugin folder, photoshop wouldn't open due to a registry fault with one of the files, namely After Glow. Removed this single file and everything works just fine . . thanks a lot, gonna have a lot of fun with this . . cheers

I had the same problem I removed the new filters I have added and then Photoshop worked, but now how I can use? There is a problem with the registry? how I can use the filters, please we need a detailed steps to make this work?

PS needs msvrct10.dll file for having plug-ins...download it from here http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcrt10 and put this to the photoshop directory and then the program will work
