HI I am pretty new to this, I have downloaded games for the wii with success. I am not sure tho how to install the wiiware games. I can't burn them to disk. anyone help?

Based on what I am hearing, nothing can be done to make this work on PAL Wii's at this time. If any PAL users do get it to work, please reply with details on how you got it to work. As for Critter Round-up, the Japanese version seems to be the only one available at this time. However, I hear it's not that great a game to begin with.

What kind of file is WAD ??? I just purchase a Wii today and not sure how to get this file to work on it. Do I burn to a disk, dvd , totally lost. Please advise Taoted

If you have a copy of Twilight Princess and an SD card, you can install the WAD to your Wii. Google "Twilight Hack WAD".

I tried but not sure if I did it right. Sooo many and very confusing. What folders are u suppose to have and what is in each folder. Do I rename one of the file to a wad-installer.elf to boot.elf and put it in the root directory. Where do I put the wad-installer.dol file and the wad file that I just downloaded for this table tennis. I am also from Canada, so do I have the right files. Please advise, tried many things and feeling hopeless. Thanks Taoted

Okay, I will make it very simple for you. 1. Connect the SD card to your computer 2. Make a folder in the SD card titled "wad" without the quotes. Put the wad files in there. 3. Rename the "wad-installer.elf" to "boot.elf" without quotes. You will not even be using the .dol file. 4. Put the "boot.elf" on the SD card (NOT in the "wad" folder). 5. Put the SD card in your Wii 6. Download the Twilight Hack and replace it with your Twilight Princess gamesave (back it up if you ever want to play your saved game again). 7. Insert Twilight Princess. Open the saved game titled "Twilight Hack" 8. Talk to the man in front of Link. 9. When it tells you to, press reset once (or hit the A button on a GameCube controller). 10. When it finishes and it tells you, hit reset again.

Thanks, starting to make sense, but I'm new and I do not have the Twilight Princess game. Currently I'm am trying to download from Demonoide.com This is a ready to be burned Virtual Console installation Disk. It was created from a Zelda Twilight princess ISO. It makes sense but then someone mention something about requiring a MOD chip???? Now confuse again. What is a mod chip (sound techinal) and is it required???? Thanks again Taoted

In order to play a burned DVD on your Wii, you need to install a modchip inside your Wii. Considering your lack of knowledge of the subject, it is probably more trouble than it's worth, and you might be better off just renting Twilight Princess. If you just rent the game, you can use it temporarily to install the WAD Installation and Uninstallion channels to your Wii so you won't need it anymore.
