  This is a reseed from Dimeadozen.org (different .torrent file, no worries) of a delicious four-CD silver bootleg of post-Cale-but-still-classic Velvets. Four versions of Sister Ray - that alone should be a deal-maker.<br /> <br /> The sound is all over the place - but it's about what you'd expect from an audience recording made in 1969. Those of you looking for studio-like clarity should probably look elsewhere - this is for the Velvet Underground and live music freaks Basically, Disc 2 is about the same sound quality as The Bootleg Series vol. 1: The Quine Tapes. Disc 1 is a step below that, but still very listenable. Disc 3 (the Legendary Guitar Amp Tape) is probably the worst-sounding of the lot. Disc 4 is better-sounding than Disc 3, but well below 1 and 2.<br /> <br /> All file and folder names are exactly as seeded to Dime.
