Year: 2006
After the death of his adoptive father young Shiro Emiya lived alone in a huge mansion. The 16-year-old boy has grown kind, hardworking, and economic, as has been surrounded with care and attention of two girls - the younger school friend and a teacher of Sakura Mato Taiga Fujimura, formally - a guardian, in fact - most older sister. Everything collapsed when Shiro learned that his hometown Fuyuki - the magical battle arena for the Holy Grail, which is repeated every few generations.
