I cant play it, i get this error message. "Please ensure The Sims 2 disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application" i noticed a couple of other people are getting this message o but no one has said why or how to fix it. please could someone help? can everyone else get the game to work? i can get free time to work with the crack but nothing else!!! help would be much appreciated, thanks. and thanks to the uploader too!!

SimsPotato I don't kno anything about poweriso but i do use alcohol 120 right after installing it installs a virtual drive for you, after you're done downloading the torrent , go to the virtual drive which is on your computer and right click it and search for an option called mount image, then you go select the iso you jsut downloaded and there you go. Double click on the virtual drive and you're done.

Ok I have a different problem.. I have a working patched and cracked Sims 2 and I went to install Pets, Seasons, Nightlife, and Freetime.. and I had to restart after all but Freetime cause it checks to see if my Sims 2 is up-to-date then tries to run the game where it just locks up my pc.. and when I applied the crack it says only Freetime is installed.. I successfully downloaded the torrent and installed through virtual drive in Alcohol 120. I already had my own Sims2 game installed so I didn't install that. I installed all expansions and stuff packs and the crack. When I open Free Time from the desktop, it shows all of the expansions and stuff packs, but when I click on them, nothing happens. by the way i am using easy cd dvd burner v3.8 i go to copy cd/dvd then burn an image i select the free time, file is disc1.iso it asks if i want to burn it, i say yes then i get an error saying "not a valid iso image file!" can someone please help me?

hey oohoteg***oo, u need to download the crack that is in this torrent. it is for freetime, and if you don't put it in the tsbin folder, and replace the file that already exists with it(the crack), it will say wrong disk everytime! as for captainbirdseye, i don't think you replaced the existing file, you just added the crack to the tsbin folder! you must replace the file!!!! copy the crack,open the tsbinfolder, click of to the side and paste. it will say that file already exists, do u want to replace it. say yes! if u don't do this it will never work!!!

This is my first torrent, so sorry if i did something stupid. I installed all the expansions, except for nightlife because i had sims 2 original installed already,usin deamon tools to mount. Then i copied and pasted the Sims2EP6.exe into the program files folder. Now, whenever i try to open bon voyage it first opens launcher then gives this error message Wrong disc inserted. JoelOrtizRosas, mounting is what you do to put the image on a virtual drive, such programs like daemon tools or alcohol 120% is what you need, i personally use alcohol 120% but either is fine, you need to mount the disk on the program to install what you've downloaded, like what you would do if you actually bought the expansion from the shops, you'd put it in your drive to install it! After that you do not need to mount it, i doubt you'll need to mount anything seeing as you have the original Sims 2 disk, you play the expansions through that disk but using your "new" expansion icon! Also you may need a crack if there is not one included. I hope this was clear and helps! If not get back to me!

Well, I'm having an issue. Shock, I know, a torrenter having issues. Every time I mount The Sims 2 CD 1 image, it says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart the application." I don't get it. I've tried all the CDs in that folder, and they all tell me the same thing. I'm using Daemon tools lite, and ALL the other expansion CDs work. Could someone help me? Okay, so ummm...I downloaded it, and it took the better part of 4 days...but for some reason it won't allow me to copy the "Sims 2, disk 2" for some reason...also, when I try to install the first cd it asks for a code normally found on the Sims boxes...do you have it? thank u datamatrix!!! i dled this for my wife and she can't believe i got her all the sims 2 and expantions for free! 100% working! to all u novices like me out there, this method should work problem free: 1. create a new folder on your desktop 2. use powerISO to extract to that folder then burn(the burn button is close to the extract button in poweriso) to cd-r or dvd-r 3. instal the burnt disc (start with sims 2 disc one and go from there, burn,then instal,burn,instal) it doesn't matter what order u instal expan. 4. after each is instal, it will ask to launch or quit, choose quit 5. once all are installed, open the crack file and my comp/drive c/program files/ea games/ sims2 free time/ tsbin 6. copy the crack then paste it in the tsbin folder for free time(it should ask if u want to replace the one that already exsists, click yes 7. from the desktop, double click free time icon and there u go!!!

my wife had a couple of of sims disks she lost the serials to. i use those to install some stuff just to save the time of extracting and burning. i didn'd have any sims on my computer when i began installing and in the instructions it says to start with sims 2 disk 1 and go from there. i would uninstall all the sims games u have and start from scratch.

hey william604, i had that problem at first (i was just putting the crack over the tsbin folder and dropping it in, that won't work) u have to open the tsbin folder and open the crack folder, right click on the crack, select copy, right click off to the side in the tsbin window, and select paste. it will say file already exsists, do u want 2 replace it, and click yes! now have the freetime cd in the drive and launch the game from the freetime icon on the desktop!!!

Hello, I have read the install notes, and I am still having a problem. I am using daemon tool to mount the image, but when it says it must update to the newest version, it asked for a CD 4, which isnt in the folder. What am I doing wrong? =/

Hello, I recently just downloaded this torrent, but I'm having trouble getting it to work.... I am running vista btw Anyways, I am using deamon tools and I mount the iso (sims 2_1) and I start installing it and at 23% it always crashes... any suggestions .. .:/

ok, i am having a weird problem. I downloaded all the expansions and i replaced the file with the crack. The sims 2 opens up, it shows all the expansions i have downloaded and everything. I click the play now button and it says the crack file has an error and windows is trying to find a solution. So thats where I am stuck. I uninstalled free time and installed it agaain and it still did not work. so at this point i am stuck. anyone else having the same problem and found a solution?

I have not yet downloaded this torrent (I got everything in seperate ) but that CD-key worked for me. I installed everything in this order: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sims_2#Expansion_packs Install from oldest to newest. and then I only applied the exe crack to the newest one I have (which is Seasons)

I just have a quick question. I bought the sims 2 double deluxe, and I want the other expansion packs, but I don't want to shell out all the cash. I'm also kinda confused on the whole crack file thing too...don't try to explain. What I want to know is, would it work if I downloaded all the expansion and stuff packs, installed them, but then bought the final expansion pack and installed that so I would have the final disk in the tray. Would the other expansions and stuff work, or am I just dumb? Please help, cuz I'm in the process of doing this now, but I would like to know before I go spend any more money. Thanks.

Works like a charm Have been playing for the past week and I havn't noticed any problems. On the initial start up expect it to take a bit. Be patient as it needs to load everything together. Every time after that it just loaded as usual. Enjoy everyone And thank you

Please help!!!! I installed sims pets over my own copy of sims 2, not the one provided here. It worked all right trough the installation, but when it loads and i want to create a family or on the already built lots, all the walls are weirdly red , and the doors and windows too, the windows lost the transparency. LaLa2M. I am having the same problem right now that they ask for the 4th CD. When they can't read it even though I put the iso in Alcohol 120%, they just delete what install. Anyone else have suggestions what we should do? Akdiass, You don't need to burn them, you can use the Alcohol 120% or other programs they listed above. Yet, I am running into problems.

I was only able to install sims2 in my computer. I can't even install free time. It terminate my installation because they said they can't copy into the disc. I have no idea why. I used power ISO as the people stated before but still it doesn't work. StupidBlonde has the same problem before. Did you get that problem fixed? DataMatrix, can you please help us? Thanks!

Ok I find the problem now. It looks like I made a mistake. I had my disc 4 in my alcohol 120%. The trial version has expired and the disc was stuck in the visual drive. I use power iso and mount disc 4 again. That's why i got error. I had to install the crack twice in order to get the game going. I think it's working now. Hope this helps.

Ok everything installed fine for me but why the hell does it take 1/2 an hour to even play the game?????? I restarted comp and it still does this, is this common or what? Hey, I dl'd this a while ago. It installed and worked great! but now I'm running into a problem. I just realized that the reason I couldn't find certain features and items was because I missed some of the expansion packs when I installed.. I only want to install open for Business but when I mount it with Alcohol 120% it opens the CD like a folder! I tried to click the "autorun" folder in the cd, but then it says "insert CD" wth!? HELP!

So I downloaded all have the files with the exception of The Sims 2 which I already have installed and whenever I try to install an expansion pack, it installs right to the end and then checks to make sure my game is up to date.
