Thx alot, took 20 mins to d/l, could you up the size for the vegas final to at least 500mb, id love a 700mb copy for the quality thou,i wish i was going to vegas again this year for final, o well maybe next year.

hmmm I have the latest Divx player though. I downloaded it to watch daytona. This race was awesome to listen too on the webcast so Im realy hanging to watch it lol.

Got it working now. Turned out I needed an AC3 audio codec. After trying a few that didnt work I eventually installed a codec pack that included it. This did the job. SWEEET! below is the link to download http://www.free-codecs.com/Codec_Pack_All_in_1_download.htm

I have been looking into different methods. Right now I capture in the highest quality 586kbps video and 192kbps audio with divx codec. Then I use the editor that came with the capture device and edit out commercials and compresses it to 386kbps and 192kbps but with wmv9 codec. I have been trying 2 new options. I am trying capturing it at around 386kbps and 192kbps audio and taking out commercials with vdub. Or capture at the high quality and take out commercials with vdub and compress with dr divx.

slicknick610, go with the second option and compress with dr divx as it bugs me that it takes my computer 4-5 hours to convert it to divx to watch on my dvd player as it stands. So that would be great if it comes as divx to start. cheers

Either way it will be in divx format now and should be consistent with the quality. The old convert I was using made it 1.2 gb one time and 685mb the next.

I also convert slicknick's video to watch on a stand alone dvd player but it takes me 50 mins to do it with Vdub on a pentium 4 3.0GHz. It's enough to use "fast recompress" to do it. And I use Xvid.
