Ok, I installed it and followed all the steps. I put the .exe speed into the installation directory and tried playing that and the other speed. It doesn't work, one of them says put the game CD into it and the other speed says encountered a problem and had to close! WTH is wrong.

alright people, listen: for all of you who have the problem with the program saying (update to directx9.0c) u need to go to the autorun file, open it with notepad, search for the words directx=9.0c and change it to directx=0. I havn't downloaded the game, so I don't know if it's gonna work, but it worked for other games with the same problem. Have fun, and i hope i helped.

This is pissing me off beyond belief... I successfully downloaded the game and installed it. Have been playing it but then it happens... It will randomly skip a blacklist member.. beat 15 and go straight to 13 or beat 13 go straight to 11.. I wanted to enjoy the game... not skip through it.. Wouldn't suggest downloading unless you want to be skipped around and miss out on chances for cars / uniqe parts..

i download this torrent and follow all the instruction 1. Mount the .ISO with Alcohol 120% or Daemontools. 2. Run Keygen. 3. Install the game. 4. When install is finished, reboot computer. 5. Now go to Crack folder and Copy the Speed.exe to installation directory. 6. Done! but it doesn't work

i found out what to do and it works perfectly .. For all People with the DirectX problem , here is the Solution : To get this Directx Error to vanish you have to open the Root Directory of your NFS: MW CD/DVD, then search the autorun.exe, right click it and click on Properties, go to the 3.rd Area " Compatibility" , fill the box which says "Run this Programm in Compatibility mode for:" And then select "Windows 2000", click ok. Now the Direct-X Error is gone. If you are one of the luck-less humans out there and still get this error, there's another way for you guys : You need to do the following: 1. After you mount the game image, copy all the files to you hard drive in one folder for example NFSMW. 2. Open the \NFSMW\Autorun folder..and then open the file autorun.cfg with Notepad. 3. Look for the parameter DirectXVersion=9.0c and change the 9.0c to 0 and save the file. 4. Run the Setup from your hard drive folder and ENJOY!! This is from CD-Freaks...

I found to play the game without installing. just decompress all zip files then install direct x and copy the crack of the game "speed". Double click the speed to play.

Easy way 2 play game. U no need 2 install the game.Just decompress the file. now there will be zip files named compress0,compress1 like wise. u also upzip these files to play game. At last copy the crack of the game from the crack folder then paste on same place where "speed" file is there. it will ask to replace select yes

i downloaded the game, then downloaded a suggested crack from one of the comments, it all worked perfectly until i got to around Blacklist #9 or lower and after it finishes loading it would crash and say something about speed.exe encountering a problem. i downloaded a few other cracks but with the same results. so what should i do? For them who have the DirectX.9c error!! cause you can't install the game, decompress the four rar archives from the dvd to one folder into your hard drive then copy all the rest files (not folders) from the dvd to the same folder (some of them not needed ) then dl the crack from: http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/needforspeedmostwanted.shtml (the one with the red letters) and copy speed exe to the folder you made 2click to Speed.ExE and enjoy Warning this works ONLY if you aleready have the directx!! ... and you just take the error!!

Some are you are so stupid you dont deserve to get this crack. You to busy winging about your problems that you miss people actually explaining things in steps like lupin 3. Followed his instructions and it works fine. I cant believe there are actually writing straight after that "where do i get the key" Game works fine. Is amazing! Haven't tested multiplayer yet but am going to test it soon. Thanks alot.

Im using Vista and this version works fine however the crack which is included does not work for this version I have used a previous crack from another copy and everything is fine. The crack included is around 20mb the crack i have is 6mb something not quite right with the crack all i got was speed.exe has encountered a problems and has closed. @ valdis0 Search your pc for your directx folder remove it restart the pc and then redo the installtion this should solve your problem

No matter what do you you can work this on vista. but there is another way i found out from the 29th comment on this page. from xreBornx. u can get the speed.exe from a website then you replace it with the original file and it should work fine

I'm getting the same problem as a lot of people. It says please insert the correct cd-rom, select OK and restart application I mounted the game with magic Iso, installed it and now when i try to run it, it doesn't work.
