I've downloaded several Sims 2 torrents, and all of them will mount and load on Daemontools. They go into the "Run Setup" pop-up, but the setup never loads. What do I do? Oh, and I'm on Vista.

I got University to work. You have to mount CD2 like it says in the installation instructions, and then run the auto-run from the folder you extracted the archive to. Don't try to run the autorun from CD2. As for Open for Business it says please make sure to insert Disk 1, which I cannot seem to find.

I just figured out how to get Open for Business to install. after you extract the 7z go into the folder that you extracted it to and package everything into an iso file. Make sure that the TITLE OF THE DISC is: Sims2EP3_1 If you want to go even further you can give it the same file name, though I gave mine Sims2EP3_CD1 to match with the naming conventions of that in the University expansion. You have to make sure that the TITLE of the disc is Sims2EP3_1 though. If you use poweriso it's the name that appears in the top left hand corner of the file tree when building the iso (right next to the gold disc)

To be even more specific I also had to run the autorun file from the .iso I created by going to My Computer right clicking on the drive that the CD was mounted to, clicking explore, and then double clicking autorun.exe

I dled everything and that went fine (took about 12 hours, which is pretty quick I guess since I've heard a week) and I unzipped the original and nightlife folder, which also took a while, but I can't find the autorun file in it. It's in every other one except that one. Am I just not looking in the right place, or am I crazy, or what? Help!

Hi Everyone! I need help, big help. I install The Sims (01), then I come to University, and a few more... I should just say all of them except (Sims2EP1_CD2) Which is University CD2 that is somehow an ISO file and the ONLY ISO file I can find with Daemon Tools. My mind is flooded, going off with explosions trying to figure out how to even make an ISO File with Daemon Tools PRO. Or why the instructions didn't state how to make one, Why didn't ISO files come with the download. Am I doing something wrong? How did almost all of you, install almost all of them without almost any problems hehe. I have too many questions to be answered this must be continued on a messanger. I am hoping someone will help me Please.

The dude up top was correct, you can install open for business by having a full version of PowerISO and making your extracted Open for Business into an ISO and mounting..it will install and you can use the serial in the word document. As for University, I had to borrow a copy of the game to get it to work.

Hmmm, I had downloaded this exact torrent on my comp but I guess the torrent was deleted off of here, cos now I can't find it. Perhaps it was stolen...pretty annoying. I had a few questions, like why didn't running d-tools and mounting the iso that was in university lemme continue with installation, all it said was disc not inserted. I was at a dead end. Believe me, I've downloaded many games and had experience with iso time and again, so don't think I have no clue as to what I'm doing. Anyways, I guess I'll give downloading this thing another shot, as soon as my internet stops being a ****@ss

Everything installed 100% successfully you need to make an iso img for 4 & 5 look at the ico files in each folder to find out the name of the cd dont forget to add a _1 or _2 depending on which cd it is and install them from the iso img a few of these still need cracks but everythign seems to be working fine just giving it a few minutes to load

Please help Uploader, i've been downloading this for 3 weeks or more and now i cant instal i've extracted the (01) first sims2 by winrar and i made an iso of the extracted folder and i mounted using daemon tools.. i cant install the sims2 deluxe when i press autorun it says please insert the sims 2 deluxe cd1.. im crying my headout pls help me quickly
