----SPOILERS---- Beleive me you don't want to download it. Neville gets to reason with the zombie guy and takes the girl he has on the table out the containment room to give her to the zombies and then they go. After that Neville and the other woman goes to the survivor refuge. So first of all, he doesn't achieve anything (he can't get the cure because he gave up the girl) so he's not really a legend but just another survivor running for his life. And anothe thing is that I believe that legends are so because they died fighting for their porpuse, for example artists aren't recognized until they die. So I think the original ending is the best of both, bot not perfect though.

First of all, the original movie was good and this was good too. For the people who keep asking what is the ending and if its real or not, TRY IT YOURSELVES! And the people who give away the ending like enswash are dumb, way to ruin the movie for everyone else. If people want to see just the ending google it, I'm sure you'll find something. Ok this ending is as bad a the original I liked the movie just neither ending, and to all say that he must die to be a legend you are wrong. This ending was obviously made to leave it open for a 2nd movie. If they made a 2nd then he could die in it and still be a legend!!! I personally think that making a ending that suited the movie may have been just out of reach of the director. This alt I believe was the only choice for the alternate and it still did not give the public the ending they want. "THERE WILL BE NO SEQUEL" so with that being said the original was better suited for screen release. LOVE HIM OR HATE HIM ROBERT NEVILLE IS A LEGEND!!!

It's worth the download if you want to keep the whole movie with this ending.

4. What is his lack with Weapons!?, there multiple weapons depo's stationed in NY, NY. right in Manhattan, designed for the Military incase of a invasion... 5. Well the one thing that annoys me the most is the people that arrive there are so Dumbfounded its not even funny... its like dealing with the Village people... if they were so smart to survive so long how could they be So stupid..... might as well had them be wearing loin-cloths and wielding rocks and sticks!!!!

Problems are though.... 1. In the US, its almost Blasphemy to kill the lead or the hero(terminator series...) Gives most people that gut feeling something should happen.. 2. European's and most middle-eastern/asian country's. commonly believe more in the Valor of death. death is looked apon as nothing, to common and a continuation of life. unlike the US. 3. Very un-relistic idea of the idea of him loosing his sanity to darkness and not designing the house better during the day to improve the safeness. (Can anyone say 2 layers of Titanium Alloy on all Walls of the house and 4 layers in the "Lab" with bright light emmiters??? i mean common, anyone with half a brain would know that eventually something will penetrate you defenses!)

a "Legend" is someone or something that has done something "Spectacular" or Life altering, usually used in a past-tense, but can be used in common spoken word as a adverb. Now in the case of this movie... He doesnt have to die to be a "Legend" living among them for 3 years alone makes you a "Legend" among others, but to top all of that, he discovers the cure last minute and possibly saves the human race...
