You know, I really wish people would rip into .ogg format. It just sounds better, even at lower bitrates. Just think, 1/2 the size and the nearly the same quality. In short, ~64kbps ogg > 192kbps mp3. On topic, the soundtrack rocks!

Hey illegalprelude, the point is that FLAC sounds almost infinitely better and is easily converted to other types at whatever bitrate you want. An MP3 is a Microsoft proprietary format and does NOT sound just as good when converted from mp3 to flac. And there are players that can handle flac. Checkout www.tigerdirect.com they have a couple of players that are extremely linux compatible. But, in order to get the other companies to use other formats, besides just mp3 (which is okay if you need to save space and have a tin ear), people need to ask these other companies for the other formats. See? Simple. Sort of.

There's always somebody who thinks that the format they like is better. MP3 is a very nicely established standard, that works pretty much everywhere. Why bother?

yea. im sorry but forget Flac and Ogg and stuff. DOnt get me wrong, im HUGE into audio and even 192 to me sounds like **** but Ogg...***? Wont play in my iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, 360, iTunes (where my 95GB music library is) I cant give it to people cause they wont have a player for it. Whats the point?
