You can open up the .UIF file with MAjicISO, this is freeware, and completely reliable for de-compressing Image files. http://www.magiciso.com/

I happen to like the .UIF format. Thanks. Magic ISO Rocks. Follow afbase's advice below: 1) copy/paste the license # (lower left) 2)Delete the given MathID in the keygen, insert the MathID given at the mathematica prompt. 3) click generate 4) copy/paste password PS I ran it on XP. For Vista, as always, you have to make it compatible with Vista. Right click>properties>compatibility>run this program in compatibility mode> etc.

BTW, there is a data file that needs to be unzipped into the C:\Programs\Wolfram\mathematica folder after you are done installing. It contains thousands of program files. PLUS, from the DATA 1 folder this creates, you will have to unpack 108 WinRAR zips into this folder. Select "no to all". It will produce a folder that is 1.04 Gigs, far more than the program folder itself. No doubt, many of these programs are needed to achieve full functionality. If I'm wrong on this, someone please post.

Careful!!! In the EDGE- folder there is a trojan (virus), and the file is just the free download from mathematica own homepage.

Apparently this torrent is the same or similar to the one at http://www.mininova.org/tor/1151734, so, if you're having trouble registering it you should read the comment #8 posted by golive. Well, what I personally did was mount the UIF ISO with MagicISO, installed everything... Then executed the program and it asked for "Single User" or "Network" license, selected Single, copied the License from Keygen, copied the MathID provided by Mathematica onto the Keygen, clicked Generate and copied the password from the Keygen onto Mathematica... Presto, it was fine. Good luck!

Aparentemente este torrent es el mismo o similar al publicado en http://www.mininova.org/tor/1151734, así que, si están teniendo problemas para registrarlo deberían leer el comentario #8 hecho por golive. Bueno, lo que yo hice fue: montar la imagen UIF con MagicISO, instalé todo... Después ejecuté el programa y me preguntó que tipo de licencia quería, si "Single" o "Network", elegí "Single", copié el número de licencia desde el Keygen, después copié el número de MathID desde Mathematica al Keygen, hice click en Generate y copié el password en Mathematica... Presto, todo funcionando... ¡Suerte!

When it asks you to continue as Trial or register, click register (or enter license number). 3. It will ask for your license number, open Keygen.exe (I extracted it using MagicISO), and copy the License number provided (ignore everything else). You should now be able to click OK. 4. Now, it will give you a MathID, and ask for the password. Highlight and delete the MathID in the keygen (6139-81550-53912). Don't worry if the number still shows, it has been deleted. 5. Now copy and paste the MathID (6139-68999-37173) onto the keygen (it might be blurry, but that's ok. 6. Click Generate, and use that as the password. If the first password doesn't work, click generate again, and use that one (I succeeded on the second try). There you go!

Preguntará a continuación por el número de licencia, abrir Keygen.exe (yo lo extraje usando MagicISO), y copien el número de licencia proveído (ignoren el resto por el momento). Deberían poder hacer click en OK. 4. Ahora, el programa te dará tu MathID, y preguntará por el password. Selecciona y borra el MathID en el Keygen. No se preocupen si el número sigue figurando, se ha borrado. 5. Ahora copia y pega el MathID que nos da Mathematica en el Keygen (puede aparecer borroso, pero no pasa nada). 6. Click en Generate, y usar el password nuevo que nos provee. Si el primer password no funciona, hagan click en Generate de nuevo y usen el password nuevo (a mí me funcionó al segundo intento).

sorry for being abrupt, but i should have mentioned that the program and the keygen worked for me, and thanks to all for uploading. A workable pdf file would be helpful as an intro to understanding the software. The extracted correctly but when burning to disc, the file somehow became corrupted. Anyone with same finding, can you help....
