Sometimes the producers need the extra time to get some minor tweeking done on the show. Hopefully RTD is taking a close look at the last episode of the season. The shows this year have been all over the place in quality of writing, acting and direction. "Adam" was very good while "Out of the Rain" should have stayed in the rain. (Good idea, badly done. See "Last Action Hero" for another bad variation on this plot.) Of course, the best thing about Torchwood is the torrents by MM. Now if RTD could care as much about the quality his show as MM does about the quality of the torrents, we would have one kick-ass show.

I thought that episode 13 was next friday? wasn't getting the last few Torchwood's out of the way the whole point of the move? @ saffran: really, if that was a spoiler for you, you can't have been paying attention to how RTD's mind works. (let alone the series trailer at the end of Episode 1 ) and MM - put a "thanks" in the thanks box, but am saying it again... you rock! It's the end of the World I tell ya - Episode 11 HQ MKV is still not out and its the day before before before yesterday here in New Zealand [25th 5:36PM] I suppose we have to give [MM] time off for Easter? We get Friday and Monday off here so maybe they do in the UK too? Thanks again [MM]... always appreciated. On a lighter note, seen David Tennant in Cassanova [Russel T was involved in that and it had the mandatory Gay inclusion] and in another BBC Drama. I see that Jack (Barrowman) is in the next episode of Hotel Babylon. Then there was Billie Piper in that excellent series "Secret Diary of a Call Girl". Is it just me or do we think that RTD should concentrate more on writing a good script rather than pushing his Gay Agenda on us?

so it appears that ep 11 HQ got swallowed by the rift....I'm guessing there was an encode problem, does anyone know if BBC2 is airing the ep again so MM could redo the encode? MM's releases are the best, but I can only wait so long.

I'll come down on sighkick side. While there's nothing wrong with gay couples doing their gay thing on TV, Torchwood has become Queer as Doctor Who-Folk and is starting to bore me to tears. There is an exceptionally high frequency of man-man romance. While I am not repulsed by men kissing, it doesn't particularly turn-me on either... it's just there, like someone kissing their pet or their kids (though with much less tongue)(where was I going with this again?). I thought I was watching an edgy sci-fi series. Turns out I'm watching a gay romance series. I'll still watch, but there's diversity and then there's go too far off in the other direction. (cont'd)

(cont'd from above) In fact there is a genuine shortage of straight kissing on the show. What there is of it is mostly taken up by Gwen and Rhys who aren't particularly attractive people and I really don't want to see them kissing each other (much less pets or children). And how about some more women kissing each other? See? It's not diversity without women kissing. (The L word seems to be banned by Mininova's filters) Mind you, how about we just get rid of all of it and have somebody write a sci-fi series that's actually GOOD first. Was that off topic? Oh yeah, thanks [MM], can't wait for more HQ eps.

I do agree with you but they seem like they need to just put that one gay agenda stuff in once in the while, and do agree there needs some more straight or gay kissing of gals. Still they are a relative new series. So far is when there is a problem with the series give it awhile and it fixes it's self. Season 1 had too many eye catching episode (Day One and Geeks Bearing Gifts prime examples of that that got worked in well in the end of the season 1) and had more story or character based episodes. Thanks Martha for the kick ass work so us yanks in America could watch it.

ty for this martha. just waiting for next tuesday.. i agree with the gayagenda thing totally i dont mind saying the truth is jack will do anything with legs and a hole i mean hes from the far future where possibilities are endless (from doctor who episode) but its just starting to get waaaaaay out of hand.. get back to a good story line and i will be happy with the writers again. i wonder if the writers ever read comments on these threads or if they are just stuck on there own, and gay sci fi specific forums
