I have a PAL Wii with D2Ckey installed. Adventure mode works but every cutscene is the same as the first cutscene when you start the mode. Game worked, but had some major lag issues from time to time. Also, i played for about 2 hours and the game crashed during a fight (3 times total, 2 times in VS game and once in adventure). I unlocked some characters from multiple VS mode matches. It doesn't have auto save. it only saves when you play single player. (pretty stupid yes) So i lost 2 unlocked characters. Any1 know if the Wiizard DL version works better? with PAL D2Ckey? Thanks!

We are pleased to be able to announce the release of Firmware Update 1.9s for Wiikey which is available in the resources section. This fixes the issue with original SSBB discs not working and it should also no longer be possible to render the chip inoperable by using patched config discs. A new config option to block system updates from DVD is also supported. The 1.9s config discs will be released by the end of this week.

i have the argon chip (fully up to date + up to date european wii firmware) - first time i inserted the disk i was asked to update, i followed that through, but afterwards i got an error and was told to remove the disc from the drive and restart the wii, and the same thing happens everytime i insert the disc now - is there anyway this problem can be solved?

I have just downloaded this torrent. I tried burning it onto a disk with ImgBurn. When i put the disk into the wii, it comes up with two errors, 1) the system files are corrupt or 2) Please eject the disk and power off. Could someone please help me???????????//

So you must downgrade your Wii to play this game. It DOES wwork , I use wiikey 1.9s, PAL, FW 3.1E , just burn it with Imgburn at lowest speed (2,4 x)...respect to the scrubber !! To spacewaster : U must have chip inside your console, than its pretty easy...

This game WORKS GREAT! Burned with imgburn at 4x verbatim with no mod in the layer brake With ARGON! Nice Torrent! I will for sure seed till the end don't worry It's the real game WORKS 100% and i'm really happy and playing since 1 week now I have seeded 15GB till now!! Dvd5 and not dvd9 dual layer works GREAT! The movies are the same every were. So that's why the size is so small to fit on a normal dvd-r. But you can skip them and play normally so enjoy in story mode

I had Wiikey installed 6months ago and it now plays games from any region. Downloaded plenty games from here and they all work brilliantly. I havent been online with it ever so never updated, but this game asks to update when loaded. Will this risk bricking my Wii or can i just accept it and play??? Thanks guys (and girls)!!!!

for all peeps asking about error code 002 , you need to patch the iso file. google search wiiscrubber and generic wii patcher and wiibrickblocker basically you will have to create a keybin file , load iso into wiiscrubber ,search for maindol in the second portion , extract it then patch it with wii patcher , replace the maindol with the patched one, save. error code 002 will no longer show , just use wiibrickblocker on the iso file, this will stop the update at the start , burn iso at 2x speed.

just tried it, turns out I have wiikey. found out by running the wiikey 1.9s update disc, that worked perfectly. the wii does make a lot of noise while playing though and it all seems a bit sluggish. BUT IT WORKS!!

it works fine on my 3.1U ntsc wii. is this ntsc or pal? it works ok but there are a little problems. they only play one movie for all the movies in the 1 player modes. and who else has this problem, when i was fightiing tabuu (the final boss in subspace emissary) i beated him and the game said it was unreadable? i beated him twice and it messed up on me 2wice.

Hi, I have a US wii. Version 3.2U. Don't know what kind of chip I have. I burned the DVD9 version, but can't get it to work. Don't know if my chip needs updating or if the media I used to burn on is not good enough (Melody DVD +R DL and E-Book DVD+R DL) I heard it can also be because my lazer can't read the Duel Layers. So I am going to download this version that is not DL. So If this version also doesn't work, then I know that it is not the lazer (periodemeter) that is the problem, am I right? Ok instructions to how to play as a few people have had concerns. This is how i got it working on an Australian PAL System. Update the newest firmware for your Wii online first. Then insert the burnt disc (verbaitm 4x speed preferably) then accept the update. The game should now work. however i have noticed it freezes with Mario and Squirtle sometimes and the adventure mode is in slow mo (might be a burn issue though). Still very worth the download. M.

On my UK Wii with the Argon chip this game doesn't work for me. The pre-game icon and loading screen load but then it crashes black like Scarface and Duck Hunting does. I don't know too much about updates as my Wii isn't online yet (router is in the post) but I have the update that comes with the new Mario Kart game and that should be the latest right? Since the update some of my other games now work that didn't before like Metriod Prime 3 and Donkey Kong Jet Race so shouldn't Smash Brothers work now? Any help?

Humm ... after a few hours of downloading ... it didn't work :( I had the same problem with Super Mario Galaxy .. I got borrowed a original pal dvd and it didn't work on my Wii ... then I downloaded the NTSC version and it plays perfectly :( would be the type of the media I bought ? the others I recorded on a lighscribe lg dvd-r version ... and this SSBB I wrote on an "ELL COM DVD-R" :( anyone has any idea ? should I download a NTSC version or do something else? help will be a lot appreciated :-) thank you in advance

If your Wii is chipped then surely it doesn't matter if you use NTSC or PAL. I have a UK Wii and I play NTSC and PAL games on it. If you download anything adult like Manhunt 2 then it's always best to get NTSC coz here in England we have a faggy government and they don't allow so much gore.
