At first it just came up with a blank white screen, but then I upgraded the software for my R4. It worked for a while, but when I got to a certain point, a "Thanks for playing!" screen showed up and reset the game. I guess we have to wait for some update. Same sort of thing happened to Worms DS, right?

To play this game without the "thanks for playing" message google for "R4 M3 cheats" and download the CHEAT.dat file. That file contains a cheat that can turn the message off. Just copy the file to the "system" file. Start the DS, select the game, press "Y" to access the cheat list. Now make sure the first cheat is selected and also "Game Enabled" and "Cheat Disabled" have a dot by them. Now "Save and Exit" - enjoy.

For those of you with the R4, simply use the rom trimmer which is on the disc that came with your R4 or google "rom trimmer" and ull find it on the R4 website. I dont know if the resulting rom will work with other cards though, try it perhaps. Hope this works for you too!

sorry my mistake, it seems that the game itself has a problem... you can't wander off from the story line or else you'll get the thanks for playing message, like when you're supposed to go to the big town and you return to the caves and exit you'll get the thanks for playing... sorry for the confusion. The game is inside the winrar archive, the file name is different but has an .nds extension

Yeah, the "Thanks for playing" message looks like a message when you want to quit the game, not that the game is a demo. This message appears because the game isn't fully compatible with our cards YET. I reallyhope the R4 guys work quickly to solve this issue, like they always do Thanks!!

Its NOT a demo. The random "thank you for playing" message is an anti-piracy measure by Square Enix, should be fixed for R4 if they do a kernel/firmware upgrade for this problem. Until then you'll just have to wait or buy the actual game unless someone else figures out another way around it.

Ok guys this is not a Demo!!! I have already pass the cave and save it in town why is everybody getting so much problems with it,its real people ok you want to play it right but you can't whythe game needs the nds bios to work thats one and two you need to encrypt the rom why would you do this well encrypt the rom so it can boot from thre bios so the antipiracy logo wont appear ^_~ the problem with some of the games you found in the websites is that there roms are decrypted and hello real game roms are encrypted. how to encrypt the rom google it....^_^v

if it works with flash card iam not sure of it bacause iam playing it in NO$GBA 2.6a but try it. ok for everyone extract the encrypter into a folder ok once thats done move the game rom inside the folder where the program is double click on the EXE file of the program the program will open choose #1 option to encrypt your game,the program will tell you what many roms he has found once it finish just close the window and once more move te game back to the roms folder. make sure you have bios and firmware people. to boot bios in NO$GBA 2.6a is simple just open the emulator select a game the emulator will open once is open choose option emulation setup and go to where it says reset/startup entrypoint and choose GBA BIOS (NINTENDO LOGO)press ok close your window go to options again and click the save option tab. I don't no if this works in other emulator i only use NO$GBA 2.6a

i'm using DSTT, and yes its got the same bug/protection/incompatibility ... or whatever you guys want to call it. in my opinion its just an incompatiblity problem. its a new game, stuff like this one happened already with some other games. the only reason why this issue is generating too much buzz is because FF is a very popular title

No clue. Right now the only options for US version are: -use a flash card that works in list above -use NO$GBA 2.6a workaround posted in comments above -wait for 1.17 firmware if you're using R4 -buy the original game as far as I know the other dump of the ROM has the same issue

I also had the freeze when I stood on the pedastal at the armor shop in the first city. I restarted and have never had the same problem again. I updated firmware on R4 to 1.16 today so hopefully that will help. Anyway, above method works and is all good!

Well i paly the game FROM THE EMULATOR NO$GBA 2.6A, and a i have a problem when i go to SAVE GAME ate the Blue CRISTAL, one alert say "SAVING..." when finish the alert mesage turn to SAVE SUCESFULL, but the SLOT i have try save the game APPER, blanck and dont display any DATA SAVE, and if i turn OFF EMLULATOR i need to play all again because dont have any LOAD opions or DATA SAVE... Any one have this problem to? How i can fix this problem? Ty Guys
