furyjonte: 1. No, Forged Alliance is a standalone expansion, so you don't need the original game to play it. 2. There are 4 factions in the game: the UEF (United Earth Federation), the Cybrans, the Aeon Illuminate, and the Seraphim, which was added in this expansion. 3. No, you can't online with it, unless you're using Hamachi. You can still play on LAN tough. PS: Long live the UEF! :D

~~Ifs you need a crack. First check the game version, and get the crack that matchs your game version. few things that can make crack doesnt work: 1. most cracks are very old like 2 or 3 years, and wont work with the latest OS. 2. some games require you to emulate cd images, using virtual cd porgram, like alcohol 120% or deamon tools. YOU DON'T NEED A CRACK FOR THIS GAME. GPG patched out the CD check, there is absolutely no need for a crack for this game.

After the first tutorial, the game crashes (using vista). Has anyone had this problem before, if so is there a known fix? I'll keep playing and post again if there is more trouble.

i installed it with a cd key i found but it still asks for the cd (says wrong cd inserted) even when the image is mounted. maybe they found a workaround for mounted images. who knows. haven't found a crack either :(
