It all works fine for me. To clarify the procedure. Install WinUHA (included) Right click each packed file and 'Extract Here' (Takes 5-6 hours) Go to the Medieval 2 Disk 1 folder and run setup.exe CD Key is 1111-1111-1111-1111 If it asks for Disk 2, just paste in the folder url (example "C:\Bit Torrents\Medieval 2 Total War + Kingdoms COMPRESSED\Medieval 2 Total War DISK 2&quot Once complete, go to the Kingdoms folder and run setup.exe Once complete copy the provided cracked kingdoms.exe over the installed one. Job done. Follow the instructions to the letter, and you'll be fine.

My god this is so lame!!! I really have to unzip (or unuha, whatever) EVERY SINGLE FILE?????? My god, I've never seen anything so stupid. What happened to iso images, way easier? And the time to unpack, my god, this is lame! Forget it, I'll just delete it and download another (BETTER) image. Oh, BTW, the guy who did this should put better instructions too. This Torrent took way longer to get working after downloading that it should have, but its really not that bad. Took 3.25 hours to unpack the UHAs on a 2.5ghz Core 2 duo. Theres no missing files so long as you follow the directions exactly. Everything will work without a hitch so long as you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY, and have a computer which can run the game. If it takes you 7 or 8 hours to unpack it, then you probably cant run the game anyways, so forget it. whoever packed this release is, frankly saying is <swearing is not allowed by mininova>. WinUHA?? What happened with standard RAR or 7ZIP? And what is that ridiculous statement about CPU cache.... Yes fast CPU is better then slow, and more memory is better then less. Hardly has something to do with on die cache UHA is slow; very very slow comparing to 7zip it will get another 3%-5% compression at a tremendous CPU cost; I suppose it could have been worse - KGB archiver.

I just recently setup a new computer and i need the game agine This release was made to save people from downloading extra gigabyte's and you only have to seed one torrent , both games uncompressed would equal about 13gb's. Ive tested and theres no archiver that can match the compression of WinUHA, you dont know unless you've tried. ----------------------------------- The hamachi servers are still online if anybody wants to play some multiplayer.

Download a fixed exe from gamecopyworld.com. You cant just install the game and play, you have to bypass the CD protection. Firstly, a big thankyou to the uploader, Alot of effort went into prepairing all the files. For those that can't install it, make sure all you do is install UHA program. then just right click on each compressed archive and select ''EXTRACT HERE'' Once this completes just click on the setup.exe. Then just download the fixed exe from gamecopyworld.com and copy that into your installation directory C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War and confirm replacement of existing file. The game works 100%, Unfortunetly i ran out of bandwidth so ill'e seed again in a few days

Okay so for anyone who has the issue with the missing files i found the solution... you have to extract both the total war 2 and the expansion then install them both because the exapansion "kingdoms" has the 1.2 and 1.3 update which seems to fix all of the non-sense then just go and get the crack from http://m0001.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_medieval_2.shtml#Medieval%20II:%20Total%20War%20v1.3%20[ENGLISH]%20Fixed%20EXE and you'll be golden its a pretty sick game thanks to the uploaded if anyone still doesn't understand just ask here and i'll check back every now and then... cheers.

to protozero,maesteromaestero, and isix1992 i too had this problem and now i found out the solution it's all about when you extracted, you were suppose to extract in the same folder or you press EXTRACT HERE because i think you guys pressed extract to and then you guys created a NEW FOLDER and that is what caused the problem i recommend you guys transfer the info in that folder to where you see the original UHA then it'll work ok? if any problems contact me oh yeah guys don't forget to get a crack from gamecopyworld.com

Game works perfectly! Thanks to the uploader for this. Unpacking the compressed files takes a very loong time. The secret to this is just leave your computer on overnight while unpacking all the files at the same time. BE SURE to read the "Medieval 2 Total War Compressed Info.txt" to know where to extract the files. @webking007 Try updating your drivers?

I've downloaded and extracted ALL the packs and main thingy's into an empty random folder on my desktop. I run the setup .exe in the file, goes and starts installing then stops and asks "please insert the disk with binkw32.dll" When I go to the file I clearly find "binkw32.dll" and even when I click browse druing the installation and direct it to the binkw32.dll it says it can't find it. I truly don't the 4 hour de-compression times as I'll take a nap or play my 360 but I would've REALLY rathered a image I could mount instead of all these files.

NOTES: All the info to get it working is included into the DL" I should know I created It". You just have to use your brain and read some, if your to ignorant to do what i wrote then you shouldnt even play the game because your going to get pwned anyway. Lastly, I made the archives back when i had my old socket 754 computer, so I was estimating the time frames from that point of view. With my old computer i could extract both games in IDEL mode, and it took about 5 hours. Hence, the reason why i said it probably take 7 hours with a computer with weak CPU. With my newer AM2 ,AMDx2 3800 duel core setup i can extract both games in idel mode in about 3 hours. IF your CPU is faster then a 3800 then i wouldnt worry about the extraction time just more about the DL times.

I got total war to work by extracting here. Kingdoms tells me I can't install the game over the 1.000 game, I try and update it to 1.3 and it the update gives me the same reason.

Maestomaestro if you use the "Extract To" tab or try to extract the archives with the WinUHA menu, IT WILL extract the files into a new subfolder. This will corrupt the install. Make sure you right click on the archive then use the "Extract Here" tab, this will extract the files into there proper place. Read the Medieval 2 Total War Compressed Info word document for more information.

Sorry i didnt read much of the last posts. Im thinking that kingdoms install got corrupted, I havent personal tryed since i made this torrent. Theres a rare bug with WinUHA that will turn the archive into 0kb, but the file will still be there showing. This happens when you try to extract all the archives at once and the CPU gets maxxed out,Yet it dosent always happen. Thing is after the corrupt archive turns to 0kb, its still possible to seed the file with a torrent. I think this is maybe what happened to kingdoms install.

the extraction time is awful, i have a athlon x2 4000+ clocked at 2.76GHz and it takes over 6 hours to extract pack1.for me there is no option when i right click on the archive to extract here. the only way i can extract it is to open winhua and click on "extract archive to" and the estimated time is 6h.DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS TORRENT,ITS ONLY LIKE 35% smaller and unless u got a quad core or 56k internet DONT DOWNLOAD THIS.

kostas777711 did you install both the Medieval 2:Total War and the Kingdoms expansion? i dunno why but for some reason i had to install both and the expansion update the overall system which seemed to fix that issue it updates it to 1.3 which works with the crack so try that if you haven't already... the files kind of messed up like that...

damn.. i waited and finish downlaod.. but extraction will be finished in many days.. only 200mb extarcted in 25 mins.. damn.. i hate you game rippers.. why didnt you comppress all the folders in a sinlge file or 1gb files.. i had to check all files to right folders one by one.. i will download game and install myself expansion pack on it.. do not download unless you had quad-core cpu or like.. damn again

the game works fine.medieval and the kingdoms.thanx just read what the uploader has in the downloaded texts. as someone else said, cd key:1111-1111-1111-1111 and download crack from gamecopy world for medieval 2. kingdoms crack doesn't work for me for some reason and i have to run them by launcer.exe

Ok guys this game actually works! Sure it takes a lot of time to dl it and unpack it but this is how you do it. 1. Install uha program,(you will dl it with the game) 2.Extract everything what can be extracted, just click EXTRACT HERE.(it took me 13 hours to extract it) 3.install it, when you start installing it at the half way it will ask you for the second disc, just type at the end of the path number 2 instead of one. and go. i have done it a month ago so i forgot some things, anyway if you don`t have a crack there than find it on torrents i think i have it so if you contact me i will send it to you along with the kingdoms patch 1.5 As i said it works, it takes a lot of effort but is worth it. Ok , i downloaded it and unuhad it . And pressed the instal buton , enter the cd key , and asked for the first item to located .i pressed the right folder and everything went fine . Now it askes mee to locate Data_0.pack Thats is in the folder : Medieval 2 total war disk 1\main\packs\packs . If i open it just as a map i see the item called data_0.packs standing there , but i if enter 'choose folder' and i locate the main\packs\packs , it says it can't find it in that folder , anyone help please ??

Yeah guys this has been a pretty good torrent but whenever i run the setup exe from disc 1 it says that it needs the disc with the bink32.dll file.What's ironic is how the bink file IS in disc 1.Any help here? First of all thanks softzone. I read the the posts before i download a game. This one seemed very complicated but, i risk it. Just to say to all the people that are thinking in download the game. Go ahead ! The game is in english, works fine, and it´s not complicated to install. Just install the WinUHA program that comes with the game (as easy to use as winrar), and then unpack. It took me about 3 hours, but without any problem . There are no missing files and the crack works well. You just have to click in the Laucher.exe icon (use this as the shortcut to the game), because you have to choose a campaing before you really "enter the game". That´s why the Kingdoms.exe doesn´t work . So you can download the game without any fear. I don´t understand much about computers and didn´t have any trouble. I will seed this game for a long time, in respect and thanks to softzone (or whoever that ulpoad the game). Keep up the good work guys !!
