This is a totally FREE book. It has an attribution license from Creative Legal Concepts. But you can add to it, make changes, and make it better. Just give me some credit for the original, and add your name to the Appendix. It should work with power-point and starz, you may have a glitch or two to re-edit. I have been able to get 5 and 6 year olds reading and writing short sentences in about 3 months, but it depends on your style and size of classroom. You will need a computer, printer, paper, power-point or starz, lots of crayons, and lots of love. to quasireality: a female pig is indeed a sow (noun) however posting what is evidently clear to only you, you will surely reap what you sow(verb)

Notice the rude Americans are always quick to correct English grammar mistakes. Just because they don't speak or write English correctly doesn't mean they are stupid which is what is inferred with some of the replies. Maybe the person was just trying to be helpful in posting this.

hehehe, if you wanna use the past tense for this saying, at least use the past perfect: You (shall)reap what you have sown. Or use the Present tense as advised. And I'm not even a native speaker... maybe you guys should try and study your own language once in a while.

Many thanks for (what promises to be) a great upload and resource for teachers. I won't add to the "sow" v "sew" issue as we know what's correct. As it's a powerpoint file, we can make amendments (if we feel it is necessary). Still, it can't be as bad as seeing "sheeps" as the plural of "sheep" on a poster teaching children about animals!

So you plant some seeds, or as I call it, "'sow' some seeds." When the seeds you've sown have grown into plants and matured, then you can reap its fruit. Whatever you plant is what you get, you reap what you sow. I usually don't wear what my gramma sews.

Seems to me that Americans are rude whether they can spell read or write why dont you all just be a little nicer to others. quasireality, look at you, you had to look the definition up and you have something to say to GiveNTake? you are clearly cruel and that is your fault. nobody is perfect well except you I guess don't say anything unless have something nice to say as my mom always told me I have changed it just a little. The new saying is dont say anything mean unless you want to be slammed. And Please tell me how many native American speakers actually use the word SHALL? Be real go, to England where you might actually hear it.

seems to me that Quasireality should have looked up "reap" as well as "sow"... "you are clearly stupid" ...lol at the irony. and I use "shall" on a regular basis. usually when prompting my companions to leave: "shall we...?", but that is pretty much it. Anyways, looks like I am going to download this file. The posts that actually addressed the quality of the file have convinced me. Thanks!

If I were to intentionally learn a second language, Im sure Id have a complete grasp on the correct way to use it. I never chose to learn english. quasireality is a hoot, nice one!
