Good morning everybody, I installed the program but when I try to run it, the system is asking for the CD-ROM. Obviously I need to delete the file 'FarCry-Application-1,151 kb" and replace it with "cracked exe (no cd fix)". However, I cannot find the NO CD FIX File. Thanks.

I can't remember of hand, but ussually I have a bit of bother fiddling about with the files, all I remember is that this game was a piece of cake to install. instructions are included, read them. I can't remember if you need a special program to read them or not. if so, just google the extension and I think I downloaded the first program that came up. works for me.

i did the cracking part properly..the game is working...but for some reason, i cant c the ground at all....the grass texture( or watever texture should be there) is missing...everything else is visible...the trees, bushes, the trees on the mountains, everything but the ground....plssssssssssss help..

@ marijat02: Don't try to install it from a disk. Unrar the file to your desktop, it will create a folder called "FarCry", and install from there. All will be well.

This is one of the best game rips I've downloaded. Surprisingly game works even on Vista. (Vista Business x32). If you have a problem with running the game on hight settings, ie everything is blue, install the patch from the "Crack" folder even though it says not to for Vista users. That helped me. Thank you Odinas. Everyone else: when you finish downloading, (especially if you're in US and have unlimited internet traffic) don't be a **** and seed, leave the computer overnight - doesn't cost you anything.

I own the game in german, but the voiceovers are merely "tolerable" (although its a german game WTF) Could you maybe upload the english sound data? I think it just takes a .pak-file and some alterations in the .cfg If you think it aint worth it just say so and I'll dl this then

I am kinda new with torrents. This is my first big torrent i downloaded.I installed the far cry useing the setup exe through winrar. It installed everything but when I go to play it. It saysplease insert cd1 click ok then retry. The problem is that i never used any cd. I have read all the readme files but it doesnt say any thing. I should probably bit my tongue here but.. how many people read the comments before adding one? Odinas you have a lot of patience considering you have explained how to use this torrent 1 million times and are still getting begged to explain it again.... ITS ALL THERE IN WRITTING PEOPLE!! Game works great, downloaded well, unRar'd no problem, patched perfectly, cracked perfectly. I used XP, p4 1.7ghz, 1GB ram flawless results! I did have the mouse movement issue, which was resolved in the comments. Thanks! Oh and no virus/spyware related issues even many days after install. I am, unlike many others.. a cheater! Sorry to all those who can actually beat a game without them, but I cannot. I still want to see and play the games though so.. I cheat! To cheat with this game weither Odinas knows it or not half of the work has already been done in this torrent release. The key to the cheats is a file called: DevMode.lua. This file contains programming code used by the developers to give the character more options. Things like: 999 Ammo - All weapons - fly mode - teleport points etc. The only thing that is missing from the file is "Godmode". Yes I did try to play the game without godmode enabled, embarassing really. So I too will only post here how to use what already exists, meaning you can figure out godmode, can't you?

You must be in DevMode to use cheats! I say again . . You must be in DevMode to use cheats! This of course means you wont really beat the game but you will beat the DevMode of the game.. Commands once in DevMode: - press 'o' for 999 ammo - press 'p' for all weapons - press 'f3' to toggle flymode the rest can be found on cheat sites. Did I almost forget to tell you how to play in DevMode? Hmm oops! To play in DevMode - Make sure the game works normally first.... - You will need a shortcut to the game on your desktop (also check that it works first) - Right click the shortcut and select properties - in the section labelled "Target:" it should show "C:\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" right after this type -devmode thats it! should look like this: "C:\Far Cry\Bin32\FarCry.exe" -devmode Then click ok, then double click shortcut to play game.

The grass and water seem transparent for me. I tried changing the renderer to OpenGL instead of Direct3D9 or whatever but it didn't work. Nor did it seem to even change renderers. I'm still trying to fix it. I have high spec gaming pc with vista. Thanks. -S

Ive unrared and when I try to install (by opening the 'application' in crack) it comes up with the error "crysystem.dl" not found. What am I doing wrong as for what I read above it seems to be an easy install. Im using 32-bit vista.

5)then copy the farcry.exe file from it's crack filder and paste it on C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\Bin32 ......{it's the default folder} also remember to change the shortcut on ur dekstop 6) enjoy the game if having problems.....try using the patch came with this torrent.........although i didn't use the patch the game is still working gr8 thnx Odinas for such a gr8 game.......seeding rgt now

I just finished clocking this game. I restarted and it took me about a week of solid game play to do so. I had trouble with the freighter stage, so I went online to find walk through suggestions to pass it. 1 said if you couldn't use tilde. /map catacombs. Well, that didn't work. Another suggested I drive a Humvee with cannons on over a cliff to the beach, and hit 'crow' with 5 rockets. Didn't work.

...No humvees on that stage, 4 4wd's only. One said hide behind the mast when the freighter starts sinking,and shoot at him. Didn't work. Another suggested get the boat from the dock and put it on the beach, so when you jump off the boat, you can get into it to reach the safety of land real fast. Rubbish. Boat disappeared.

Hide behind the palm tree near the small palm 'bush'.Keep it between you and 'Crow'.Use machine guns and rockets to kill him.If chopper goes high, don't shoot unless you can see crow and your cross fire is red. Wait till it's lower and shoot from behind the palm tree.The chopper will move ,shoot as 'Crow' comes into line with your cross hairs.They will go red.move back behind the Palm tree.and so on. And 2 stages later, you'll see Crow's hat,use the sniper rifle and shoot him.He'll die once hit. A friend said he becomes a mutant later on in the game. Don't know, maybe,if you miss him there.

Correction,boat by freighter. The last stage is hard as you have a leaping mutant which can't readily be spotted using 't' or thermo weapon. Shoot the one standing on the far left building 2x, then run hide on the safety of the keypad, as mutants will walk up stairs. edge slightly so you can see their weapons and shoot at them, till they die. Be careful as too much will make them shoot rockets at the door which will rob you of your health. Shoot all that stomp up into view. If nothing seems to come up the stairs, rush to the left of the door, using wall space for protection.

Repeat weapon,arm or leg shooting. Inch out slowly, as another may start shooting at you.He may be hard to spot. throw a grenade at the tanks so it goes under the first 1, and it will cause a big explosion. run to safety, and out of sight under the pipe by the wall. Load weapons, and inch forwards till you see the guard legs. Shoot them before they can hide behind cover.Especially the rocket gunners.Picket up a rocket launcher, load up and blast all guards between the giant tanks, 2x, the first tanks,stairs and barriers. If successful, go upstairs to Doyle's office,and blow his a** away with a rocket launcher. Game over,you won.

215:typo error.should read as ' leave boat a distance from ship' as the explosion may destroy it.Doubtful.I think it just disappears. You can only throw rocks if you have no grenades. Uses 'g' to throw rocks.
