It works fine thanks. You'll encounter problems if you didn't follow instruction, you have error in your system, try installing it in fresh installed system like XP or your antivirus try to delete some files bec. they think it's a virus, especially those free anti-virus.. My problem is every time I play LAN games with Zero Hour. everything explodes after 30 secs and It says You are defeated to every PCs.. I've tried it with 4 PCs and uses the 1Alternativ nycklar.reg to 4Alternativ nycklar.reg each for every PCs. I think we can't use this to install in different computers in the same LAN. although it's ok for single player.

i cant even get it to work offline for zero hour.I did the reg key thing and all. It just doesnt work.I even got the image mounted on daemon tools, generals work, zero hour doesnt. thats it the no-cd sux maybe

Mine has a tendency to reach 94% in the installation and it somehow brings up a pop up saying the install disk isn't there. When I checked my daemon tools it somehow unmounts it when that error occurs. Everytime I try to mount it back it'll unmount again.

I installed this on mine and my brother's computer and used different reg file alternatives for each one so the serial key is (or should be different). but when we go to play LAN everything blows up after a minute or so and the game ends...any ideas why this is happening and how to fix?

alright people i found the solution for those who are having problems running zero hour install the game default directory then click the start menu and click on run then type "regedit" then hit ok then a window shoudl pop up then go to file+import then locate the file called "1Alternativ nycklar.reg" then hit ok this file shoudl be located in my computer+c+ program+command and Conquer then rune zero and it should work

making zero hour work i came across this when i downloaded my own game. it works for me. "THE DEFAULT FOR BOTH OF THESE GAMES IS CROGRAMC&C IT IS NOT PROGRAM FILES ITS PROGRAM WHICH IS SETUP LIKE THAT HOWEVER SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE YOUR OWN CUSTOM FOLDER SAY FOR EXAMPLE YOU INSTALL IT ON D:GAMESC&C LIKE MINE, THEN IN ORDER TO MAKE ZERO HOUR RUN YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR THE REG FILE IN THE COMMAND AND CONQUER GENERALS FOLDER. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF EM I USED 1 ALTERNATIV NYCKLAR. RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND CLICK EDIT. CHANGE THE DEFAULT FOLDERS TO THE FOLDERS YOU WISH TO HAVE THE GAME INSTALLED ON. AFTER THAT SAVE THE FILE AND CLOSE IT. THEN JUST CLICK THE REG FILE AND IT WILL ASK YOU TO ADD THE INFORMATION TO THE REGISTRY JUST CLICK YES. AFTER THAT YOU WONT HAVE PROBLEM PLAYING ZERO HOUR OR GENERALS."

My machine didn't like having a Folder called Program so... Here you go... 1) Install game to C:\Program Files\EA Games 2) After install, go to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command and Conquer Folder and right click on 1Alternativ nycklar. Select EDIT 3) Change the Installation Path for both games to "InstallPath"="C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Command & Conquer Generals\\Zero Hour\\" and "InstallPath"="C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Command and Conquer Generals\\" 4) Close and save and then right click on 1Alternativ nycklar and select YES to add it to your Registry. It should now all work fine.......ENJOY

Generals works fine, but Zero Hour seems to have a problem, the 'no-CD' starts up, but booting the single player game causes the whole thing to crash and quit-out. Anyone know if there's something I'm missing?

Ok, this is how to get Zero Hour to run. Step 1: If you have installed C&C Generals: Zero Hour on any other disk drive other than C: you will have to uninstall it and delete the directory where it was installed. Step 2: Reinstall C&C Generals: Zero Hour onto disk drive C: in the directory that it suggests when installation starts. Step 3: Once you have installed the game on drive C: goto C:\Program\EA GAMES\Command and Conquer Generals\ then doubleclick on the reg file called 1Alternativ nycklar.reg and click OK. Make sure it is the file named 1Alternativ nycklar.reg. This is the one in the main game folder (Generals) not the Zero Hour folder. You need to do this only once after you install the game. Step 4: Go back to your desktop and click on the "Generals Zero" icon. This time the game should start without flashing back to the desktop. Enjoy the game!
