i get the trial license pop up and the patent license activation but i just keep clicking the cross in the top right corner and it goees away and the program works fine :-)

I have followed the instructions but when I try to burn a dvd it says I must register online. When I do this using the download button it says that the patentactivation not installed and reinstall nero. any suggestions?

I run vista and have had problems with this new version of nero but i have solved the problem, if when you install nero you keep getting "reghelper has stopped working"Then you need to run the clean tool first !! this will remove all previous versions of nero including any reg entry's, i would do this regardless http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-cleantools.html Then install the demo of nero 8, DO NOT put any codes in for now leave it as a demo !! once installed block nero with ur firewall so it can't connect to the net, And to be extra sure delete this file : C:\Program Files\Common files\Nero\Shared\NL3\NeroPatentActivation.exe Go to nero control panel and be sure you uncheck the update box too !! Now you can enter the serial's in the nero control panel and enjoy be sure to do all this inparticular if ur running vista, if you dont it will say "pirate serial", busted and it won't work :-( Which may not work for every one Enjoy !!

I added nero & it does work.THANK YOU! however, can someone tell me why I still see the trial date in liscense? how do I get rid of it? I tried top delete the neropatent activation.exe vista advised it had to use it before being able to delete.. now I can't find it anymore?
