Get your facts right. The Bible was was not written after hundreds of years of Jesus death, It was written over a period of some 1,500 years, from around 1450 B.C. (the time of Moses) to about 100 A.D. (following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ).The Bible was written in three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek. The first translation of the Bible made into English 1382 A.D., by John Wycliffe. The Bible was printed in 1454 A.D. by Johannes Gutenberg who invented the "type mold" for the printing press. It was the first book ever printed. Next time think before posting a comment. munda420, like a true bible basher, use pseudo history to PROVE a pointless point, the bible wasnt written when you said it was compiled hundreds of years after his death and stories were cherry picked and rewritten numerous times in order to hijack other religions i.e. suicide was added as a sin as too many 'believers' were killing themselves to get to the so called promised land

Sorry, but how can you seriously trust a book that has been re-written over and over for the last couple thousand years? The new testament is almost completely different from the old, and I also think it's funny that so many people that haven't even read the bible believe in it.

it saddens me that a lot of people miss out the point about the Bible... that its not about the book of the Lord but the Lord of the book.. we don't read the Bible to gain knowledge on how to's of salvation... but we read it to get to know the Author.. that it's not about religion but about having a personal relationship with God... hope i can share more... i don't wanna argue about beliefs cause like what Skembear said people believe what they choose to believe.. hey! that's free will.. but i do hope and pray that someday, someway, somehow... you'll all get to have a personal encounter with God.. so real that logic won't matter anymore.. hey! i want more of those.... but i do understand the issue that there are some who has added somethings to fit there views.. so i just want to make it clear that what i'm referring to are th original books in the Bible... and also about the issue of so many translations.. i guess it doesn't matter to me.. cause my purpose is to seek God and not knowledge.. and i rely on Him to reveal to me His Word and not on my own wisdom... cause like it or not there are just things that we can't comprehend.. i really would like to share more... but the comment space is limited.. but if you're interested email me at stylisimo03@yahoo.com

well if you ask me... there's nothing that i would do cause i'm sure that God is real... soooo real that you just can't help but have your life changed.. but for the benefit of the doubt... just to answer your question... i wont have any regrets cause i won't lose anything by believing in God and it did me good.. it brought purpose and meaning in my life... took me from a life of merely existing to a life of living.. cause actually everything in the Bible makes sense and is very practical...
