I think what they do is remove the black bars at the top and bottom, I assume to reduce the file size. So it really is 720p quality "cropped" to 1280 x 544. I could be wrong about this, but I recall reading this somewhere.

ahh great - the subtitles are in chinese A good portion of this film is in Russian, so even English speaking viewers require subtitles to follow what is going on in the movie. While the video quality is fantastic, the total lack of subs for this makes it a worthless download for non-Chinese speakers I'm afraid
