Its not hard to have dual boot with windows and linux , but you need to have windows installed first . If you want to install linux on the same HDD with windows , you need some free space for linux partitions . I use them on different HDDs .

I would not reccomend this OS to anyone who is looking to dual boot. mandriva linux has a tendency to invade your whole HDD even if you tell it where the partition should go... If you are using Mandriva as a single boot OS, I think it is a highly respectable OS and should be used by any hardcore tux fan!
