"Horrible dub" is sorta unfair to FF12, since it has one of the best dubs lately. Sure, some of the characters are just plain flat but on the whole the dub is mighty fucking impressive. EN dubs in general need to burn in hell though.

relative noob here, just wondering if we are to mount the .iso or .img file using daemon tools, and if so, where is the install cd, i see like 50 files all marked a-ff12undub.part.....rar after extracting one of the files, it gives me the file a-ffundub.iso, when i try to mount that file, it pulls up irx files. Anyone know how to install? thanks alot guys

To run it on your computer, put the disc in your computer and run it through an emulator of your choice. Possibly the most popular is PCSX2. If you can't burn DVDs or just don't want to waste the disc, get a program called MagicDisc by the makers of MagicISO. It will allow you to make your computer think it has an extra disc drive that you can only load ISOs on. From there, just act like you have the disc in the drive and use the emulator. For more detail instructions on each of these programs, go to their respective help pages for walkthroughs and demonstrations.

Im having a problem playing this on PCSX2. There is no text commands. I dont see any menu options they are all blank I just see the cursor pointing to them wtf? You have to unrar the first file, that way you will have an iso, then burn it at low speed with dvd decrypter on a good dvd-r ( i use sony or cursor) Obviously you need a chipped ps2. -good luck

About the cutscenes, I remember reading that the english version of FFXII have some extra voices in some cutscenes in which the japanese version didn't have any, so is not a patching problem.

Confirmed that this has a lot of cutscenes where voices are missing (20-30%), 1.01 didn't fix it. Sorry but this undub ****s, if you're gonna do it then do it properly.

Seems to be mainly cutscenes you initiate yourself that have missing voices. For example: examining the dead soldiers after the attack in the beginning, talking to ashe after first meeting her; where balthier explains what "guests" are in a party.

whoops double post. ahem namine girl: you're not supposed to unrar the .iso file! you already unrar'd the .rar, that's as far as you need to go. the .iso is what you need to burn onto a dvd -- or you can mount it (daemon tools/alcohol 120%) and try to play it on your pc with an emulator (i haven't had much success with this so far). it doesn't matter what you use to burn really. i use nero. oh and good torrent, thx -- can't stand the english voices (except fran's -- she sounds kinda like a russian prostitute, it's great) !
