There is no crack that i can find yet. While I was installing original dvd... 1. Connects to the Net to download "latest patch" 2.Install finishes. then on first start up.. 3. It asks you for the serial number and.. 4.1 then it either asks you to activate it online or 4.2 you email your serial number + unlock request code to "emailadress" and they send you back a unlock code if you and you ready to go. PS. when I tried to install on another PC this same infomation (I recieved) it would not work. Sorry I can give you more info..yet

to be honest i dont know if theres a crack out for everybody, but i know it can be cracked, seeing as i have it from the website that i use (private site). i say, just be patient, im sure the other release groups will catch up soon enough and you'll be able to play it. to be honest, im more of a fan of the xbox 360 version, the controls are much more easy to manage. plus, since i only have an ATI Radeon x1400 (256mb), and only 2gb of RAM, it runs like poop anyways. anyways, its a good game with a great plot (and i hate those splicer b*****s!).

hi ppl, when it reaches the end of the installing, I get the message that it needs the original dvd to continue, so I changed the root folder, the files installed werent deleted, the folder installed is "5,49 GB", and Its missing the "bioshock.exe" main file, so I guess it didnt install everything, is everyone having the same problem as I am? the Image game file is 6,03GB but the installed game is 5,49GB, its a bit strange... how do you guys manage to install it to the end...? How are you guys getting pass the SecuROM on the disc? The one that forces an update right after installation. I keep getting booted at that point and have to start the installation over again. I mount with daemon tools, auto run it, then install. A little help would be appreciated.

its rather pointless downloading this, as you need an internet activation for this game to work, besides the serial. check any info site eg. wikipedia, even if you download and obtain serial it still won't work...

I've noticed in the activation process that after entering a wrong serial, you can select "manuel activation". At this time, they give you an "asking code" that you're suppose to mail to securom in order to receive an "unlock code". Maybe we can exploit this procedure to create an activator using this "ask code". Hope it can help...

hehe No#82 is right about the install cause I followed those instruction and i got the game working ......... but if you don't have Vista like I do I'm on XP sp2 full updated even my ati Radeon 9550 with the omega drivers but I still get alot of visual garbageall because this game is realy made for Vista because the game needs DirectX10 to run properly... I not a fan of Vista... but I do have friends that got Vista systems and love 1st persone shooters so i'll see how well this works and I'll post an update to say if or not my friends can play it or not so laters.

Well I had enough time to run 5 dif. pc's 2Vista & 3Xp and the thruth is that if you got Vista the game will work better with the video minimum of 128mb and MUST Be PCI-E or else you'll be getting a facefull of garbage and won't be able to see any details even if your vid card is strong cause the buggess one I used was my ATI Radeon9550 - agp8x - 256mb full hardware processing on agp but the best quality I got was from ATI & nVidia PCI-E 128mb vid cards.. So if your still using AGP vid card you can download and try but untill you use a PCI-E card you'll be wishing you did have one PCI-E.. well not for me cause 1st person shooters are not my types of games I prefere C&C3 and Dawn of Warand all NFS soo I'm gona wait till I get my PS3 or Xbox360 to play it motherboard upgrade will cost me more the getting a new game system.. well enjoy this torrent IT IS Working and the game Rocks.....

seriously, ive done everything it says to do, and everything works except the sound. my sound card is 7.1 channel compatible, and the drivers are up to date, and im using a 8500GT card, dual 2.8 amd live processor, and 3 gigs of dual channel ram. maybe its just a bug. stupid vista.

3. Install the game and at the end when there is an error just ignore it. When it starts to download the patches I clicked canel but didn't answer yes to "Are you sure you want to cancel?" yet. This is because it will delete the installed files, so I made a copy of the install location. Clicked yes to cancel and renamed the copied install folder appropriately. 4. Install the demo version of the game. 5. Because of the error I think, there is no executable or shortcut to run the game. So, copy the Release folder (C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock\Builds\Release) from the demo install folder to the full game install. Not sure exactly which files make a difference but I don't care because it will work. Just want to play the game!

I had the 5001 error and here's how I solved it. Unfortunately, it involves cracking the game, but at least I can play it now. :p This post probably won't stay long and get deleted beacuse it is cracked but I'll post it on other sites that will allow. 1. Copy the BioShock CD to a folder on your computer. 2. Download the BioShock demo and copy the ISSetup.dll to the CD folder overwriting it.

Works 100%! Just follow the instructions in the post number 68. One thing he didn't mention was that at least for me, at the end of the installation the game installer wanted to fetch some updates from the net. I was unsure about what to do but I decided to allow it to do that and it worked just fine when after that I proceeded as instructed in the 68th post, ie. install the official 1.1 update and apply the crack to it.

No need...I got it. Here is how you beat the patch at the end of the install...... Let it install, BUT when the patch starts TURN OFF YOUR PUTER!!!! Than just copy the crack to the folder and reg, that all...nothing fancy. P.S. My game installs fine, and the cracks work, but when I go to boot up the game, it just sits there, the process starts in the backround but the game doesnt boot up. Please help
