'Rumors' was certified gold due to strong digital downloads, and its video reached number one on MTV's Total Request Live several times, staying on the countdown for forty-five days. It was also nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Video. 'Confessions Of A Broken Heart [Daughter to Father]' is a piano-driven ballad performed by Lindsay Lohan. Although this song is actually taken from her second album, I thought it was worth including the powerful video. The song's music video, filmed on September 25th 2005 on 26th street in New York City, features scenes from Lohan's childhood, depicting her father's drunkenness and family abuse. Lohan directed the video, though she called the shoot a difficult and emotional one, Lohan says she received the support of the cast and crew and she was able to complete the video. In some scenes, Lohan hides in the bathroom as her parents argue in the living room, while her younger self [portrayed by her sister, Aliana] goes into her bedroom and suffers after coming home from ballet class.
