Sophos antivirus detects: "characteristics or behavior typically associated with malware" Could anyone who knows explain why a patch should have malware characteristics? Pleaz?

Good download. Scanned with Sophos and got no signs of any malware, but the converter prompts me with a 15 day trial??? Anyone know how to fix?

I downloaded what post 17 said. It works perfectly simple. It starts automaticaly when you start the video you want to download and no limitations. Works with Vista.

Excellent torrent! Operating system used: Vista Ultimate + SP1 Anti-Virus used: Norton 360 V2 What i did.. Right click on setup file Select 'Run as administrator' Install to default directory Next: Copy patch to installed directory Right click on patch Select 'Run as administrator' Job done! Note: Norton AV is a *****r for rejecting patches, keygens etc.. but this patch passed with no problems. Tested WM Recorder on www.last.fm and it rips all mp3's beautifully with no errors. Thanks go to the uploader, keep up the good work

Patch worked fine for me. I've already recorded half hour shows with no issues. It saves them in a file you can readily look at by clicking the "status" button. No limit to downloading time noticeable. Plan to use this to tape shows from ITV in England which is beginning to offer streaming. Nice software. Shows you the URL where you're copying the stream from, the file name it's saving it as, how many MB has been recorded, the Kbps it's recording at, and a blinking button showing it's recording. Inventive and handy.

Thanks, great program, The second time it was used, the 5 minute limitation came up though i dont know if it will a 3rd time. will wait and see... No viruses, easy to install, i would rate it 9 out of 10 and not that hard to learn and even figure out (even for a newbie user)

works like a charm! the patching can take a while, cause of searching of the program folder, i put the WM folder in another folder as "Program Files", I noticed the patch contains a file inside, the 'real' patch, but this one needs a commandline before it can be used, so next time pls let the user allocate the folder where WM is installed for faster patching, toke me over 1 hour At last, again very sweet release, no bugs, nor limitations, thank you!

Don't get it.. i install the program, then double click the patch and install that open the program.. but after 5 min it says i have to register and stops recording.. anything i'm not doing?

the patch works but you can only download files upto about 69mb then it cancels the download I checked the pacth file with 2 different programs and it came up clean dont know what the last guy is talking about

can someone put up some step by step instructions (if the NFO files were the instructions, i'm unable to open them). I'm not really sure what else i can do aside from clicking open the patch and/ or copy and pasting it into the directory (which i've done) I'm still getting problems about the download limit

Does not work, the patch thinks it worked but it doesnt. Only allow 5min of recording. The other torrent "WM_Recorder Fixed IT WORKS" is trojan, dont even try it. None of the torrents I found on mininova worked. Try the below link it works. Im getting really ****ed off!! I downloaded it and everything worked file in installing!! but everytime i try to record something ,like go to a website with flash streaming, the program crashes, whats that about!! patch is fine!

Hey peeps. I'm running vista, and have had issues as well with the time limitation. This is what I did to get it to work: * Install in compatibility mode * Don't change directory of install (leave as is) * Run patch in compatibility mode * Run program in compatibility mode I found that if I specified a different install path (I changed the default directory from WM11 to WM12), the patch will search the entire program files directory, whereas if you leave it as is, the patch should locate it straight away. I installed and reinstalled 3 times, using this method, and it works. Hope it helps.

The Crack didn't work for me either. copied it to the Program Files/WMR11 folder and ran it. it seamed to work but when recording it limits you to one minute, trial version. It seams the upload is 2 years old. I think they've closed the loophole.

i did the patch and everything successfully and its on auto on for the redording thing but it doesnt record anything when the videos starts streaming...i try typing in the url but that doesnt help either considering im not sure what the file name is if that even counts...i tried the trial version before but it only allowed 4:20 of streaming downloaded before it quit...so i wanted the full version but it aint workin...

I usually hate comments advertising other torrents, but HiFiR is right in comment 17. The link to the pirate bay works, whereas this torrent gives an evaluation mode error after 5 mins.
