I have some questions, sorry if they are along the lines of dumb! I burnt a bunch of TV episodes, at least I thought I did. The 8.5 Gigs of data was written to the disk but when done it stated their were errors with each episode, yet all the data was written. The data cannot be access so now the disk is useless, any idea what might have happened? I thought of using a different program than the Ashampoo I used for this...any thoughts/suggestions? $50 for 25 disks, I hope to not have a repeat of this!!

hi careless whispers i used the poweriso that you suggested,and i used the password and it did open up, but it is asking for a registration code. you can click out of it but is their a reg. code? thanks

hi i just want to confirm that this software is a good one . i am going to walk you through so you want be lost like i was. 1st you need the software that was mention above (the password works, but they are going to ask for a reg. code, for what we are doing just click on use the trial version.) 2nd after you download nero 8 open it with the poweriso, you are going to see 4 files 2 junk files and the 2 files you will need for nero. go ahead and open the nero, it is going to open up as a demo, that is fine. when everything is done go back and get the key gen file from the folder copy it, go to nero in the corner you will see a triangle shape item (update) click on it, the last item is the license key, go down to it and click on it. you will see add ad remove click on add and paste the key gen from the file you copied,when you finish you will see the nero 8 demo remove it and click okand you are done

It seems to have worked for me. I used powerISO to extract the files. I installed the demo (the file called setup), started it up, and used keygen (the icon with a red square) to upgrade. Quick and easy.javascript:void(0);

hey help: i was checking out the software when a sign popup saying this is a fake serial #, buy the true copy, so i went in and changed the serial #, with a new # from the key gen, will this continue to happen?

hey i read that someone else had this problem with another software and they were told to stop the updates, so i went in and change the key again and then uncheck updates. hopefully this will work.

no my ideal did not work, but here is some advise that someone posted and i tried it, just look for a file called NeroPatentActivation.exe (located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Shared\NL3\NeroPatentActivation.exe) and delete that and you will no longer receive the pirated key message. Also, no worries as it will still function normally after you delete that file thanks kidder

so i got this installed and added all the other features with the serial numbers but i cannot figure out where to get the main serial number from the keygen so i can remove the demo?? i'm new to this, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! thank you!!

my nero 8 works and has worked for a few weeks now heres what to do 1) extract the files using PowerISO (or whatever program you use to unpack .daa files) 2) Disconnect your internet connection 3) Install nero using a key from the keygen (normally the keygen is Embrace) DO NOT install using the demo organisation name and key 4) after installation block any nero programs from connecting to the internet either by using Windows firewall or any firewall 5) browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Shared\NL3\NeroPatentActivation.exe and delete NeropatentActivation.exe 6) reconnect your internet connection and restart your computer nero 8 should run perfectly but without updates..

After extensive trial & error attempts, I found out that the only way to use the Nero 8 App. is to have the "local area connection" shortcutted on your desktop to disable your internet everytime you need to have full access to your Nero 8. Apparently, this new version checks the registration when you click on any of its sub-applications. So, try a working key & make sure you don't give the program access to the internet at all...

With a .daa file you need to use another program to unpack the contents. Simple solution, go to download.com and search for PowerISO, this should work and fix your problem.

carelesswhispers, You can also download PowerISO from mininova. Search on "poweriso." The one that worked best for me was posted on 05 Oct O7 as "PowerISO 3 8 and Keygen zip" (108mb). The password for the keygenerator is "cybernet."
