mixed reviews but will give it a go. does this release explain why megatron is actually galvatron in the 2007 movie??? or at least he looks more like galvatron. and since when could megatron transform into a plane???? he was always a gun in the comic books. hate it when movies change the original story :( other than that this movie rocks!!! sorry for the rant, its been a long time coming and hope someone can clear this up 4me??

Megatron was Megatron in the movie, not sure why you would think otherwise. He wasn't always a gun, he started out as a Cybertronian jet, which he is in the movie. He later became a gun. They were all another type of vehicle on Cybertron and chose what to become when they came to Earth, like in the movie. This animated short (about 23 minutes) explains some things if you don't know much, and is fun to watch if you already do!

He's referring to the next movie. Megatron is brought back to life by Unitron and turned into Galvatron. So say the rumors anyway.

great video--explains the movie in a bit more detail--as to the sequal--dont know if galvatron will be in it but accordibng to wikipedia, the sequal (YAY CANT WAIT) is gonna be filmed this summer and is called the reign of starscream or something like that--sounds like itll be great

Hi there. When converting to DVD format, preview shows that this is an annimated version. Maybe the file size would have been a good indicator ?
