THIS IS RIDICulous. you have low upload speed, yet you insist on bloated torrents??? You can use Virtual Dub to decrease the size of these 800MB blobs to a handy 350MB or even 200MB size, WITHOUT losing any quality. Most of us don't have super duper HDTV, we just watch this on the pc-screen, so ... Please increase your decrease, so as to be kind to the landline. Save bandwidth.

Can you please downzise them? these day the software is so easy to find, i think they might have it right here? you can do it with VirtualDub, a freeware, but that would take at least 10 mins to get yourself acquainted with it, for the first time. I could you teach you though. "Allok Converter" is easier to use, has a free version and is also really good. It's just opening the avi, selecting a quality level and it will do the rest.

Hate to say, it but like this, it's just a waste of band width. People who say they see a difference just do that cos that makes them look more expert-ish and stuff.

Wow they really ft the original sci-fi stories on which the episodes are based. It seems like they put a lot of effort in finding the worst actors out there or maybe they just randomly picked them of the streets. Also the surroundings yell cheap all the time. Then there is the bad make-up, girls walk around like childish cheap hookers. Same thing goes for the clothes, simply unrealistic. The funny thing is that there is a readme text file included saying that this is real sci-fi and that stargate and star trek are the bad stuff. This show deserved it to be canceled after 13 episodes (13 the irony). Shows like Threshold and Surface should get another chance. Last but not least the filesize is ridiculous. 1000MB for 1 episode which doesn't even get you great quality. The same quality or even better can be achieved with a 350MB file.

@zploek: I made the files so large because this is a "rare" download, and since diskspace and bandwidth are not of much concern nowadays I thought "Why not make them large?" I must say I can't see the difference myself either ... But many of my friends say there definitely is one ... :/ Maybe you're right, and I should of made them smaller ... In any case, I won't be uploading a new torrent any time soon unless there are many people requesting it.... @eNdEmiOn: You're obviously expecting something different ... This is not a commercial and popularized version of science fiction (Which is what "Sci-Fi" is). Also, I said that enterprise is "bad stuff", not Star Trek ... As far as I'm concerned enterprise is not even part of the star trek franchise ... Welcome to Paradox is not the best series I've ever seen ... But most certainly not the worst either, and it DEFINITELY didn't deserve to be semi-forgotten as it has been now...

I'm not going to make a new torrent. It took my PC 3-4 hours just to do one episode, which is simply not doable for me, it would take a month to rip all DVD's and I need the diskspace. the previous ones took little under a hour, I didn't expect this to take so long. Hey thanks for this, i was gonna start it, but each file is so huge, it must be like a quality of 3000 kb/s whereas I usually have 800 or 900 KB/s. So I am waiting for my disk to clear up. I have seen just one episode, [b]"The Girl who was plugged in"[/b], and the only thing I remembered about that, was that the difference between the girl who was supposed to be ugly and the girl who was supposed to be the epitome of beauty, was not that great. Therefor, this one did not work for me as TV. The story however, was great. Even if you know the authors' tragedy. Are you sure you don't wanna downsize each file to 350 MB, the standard size for TV episode? It's really [b]'Supersize Me'[/b] of videos, here.
