Bout time someone here makes a good post. I second this comment. Use your fuckin brain people. I have vista and XP, works on both with no problems and no hoops to jump through. One thing that seems to work for me is that I'm not a complete and total fucking idiot. A lot of you should try this method because it works every time for me.

Zacky, Daemon tools emulates a CD drive. What you downloaded is a CD image. All you have to do is open up daemon tools and "open" the image that you have downloaded. This is called "mounting the image". Now just go to my computer or whatever and look for a "virtual cd drive". You'll see the game in there.

Vista users. Make sure you are mounting the img. file and not the ccd. file. For me the only way to do this was dragging and dropping the file onto the virtual drive in daemon tools. Before I did this I had the "fatal error" problem after the install. Also, make sure you run the setup and the game as administrator. Thanks porzoadam!

Thanks a mill. For those who cannot get the game to work. I am operating on Windows Vista. This game's a IMG file which is for an apple computer. To make this file work on windows, simply change the file "Worms Armageddon - New Edition.img" to "Worms Armageddon - New Edition.ISO" This will make it compatible with windows. Now, all you have to do is either burn the file to a dvd or mount the .iso on a program like Alcohol or Daemon Tools. Hope this is a help

Thanks to the uploader for the effort but this version WILL NOT work on multiplayer modes because it's a patched/hacked/cracked/whatever version and if you apply latest patch onto this release, no-cd crack won't work. And since the iso isn't the original one, mounting it has no use. If you want to play it online, just find the original/untouched version and download the latest official patch. I wasted nearly 5 hours trying to figure out what's wrong so writing down these just to warn other 'newbs' like me.

creeping_death ,,is this the Beta: 3.6.29.0 version?'' The game is patched to 3.6.28.0. I updated the game to the latest version (3.6.29.0), then I used a no-cd crack to start the game (otherwise it won't start, but then every time I try to start a match, the game simply quits to Windows. So it doesn't seem to be compatible with the latest release.
