2008-06-19 14:56 CET by MyronThund3R (thepiratebay.org)Indeed. This game works like a charm! Only thing is this game is 4.32 GB and its SHORTER then the 1.19GB half life 2. could this be from all the texture updates and fixes or is there another reason. and NO no virusses (scanned ith norton 2k7 and AVG 8)

2008-06-23 02:52 CET by dartb (thepiratebay.org)Wow, paulboscu certainly is a whiny little bitch. Nice one, loder. Worked like a charm.

I made a new Map, "Half life 2 eposiode 2", dont know if this is neccesary "But i did it, I unziped the unl-ep2.rar to the folder i made. Opened the half life 2 episode 2" map, that was created again, And in there u will find hl2.exe ,bin ep2, ect When u launch the hl2.exe file u'll get an error It prolly says that it cant find the "gameinfo.txt. Just go to the folder ep2, and copy the gameinfo.txt into the folder hl2 and launch the game

Fri Apr 11, 2008 2:30 am by adzino420 (isohunt.com)Quoting Comment #26143 I had problems with the -steam -game ep2 thing at first too. It's certainly explained very poorly, but here's how I got it to work. After unpacking the archived files with WinRar, you should see a folder titled "half-life 2 episide two." Within this folder is an icon titled "hl2." Create a shortcut to this icon and place it on your desktop, then right-click on the shortcut (not the original icon) and choose "Properties" With properties open, you will need to add the -steam -game ep2 thing to the little box titled "Target" Just type it in or cut and paste from the Readme file provided. It goes at the very end. My problem was that I tried to put it inside the quotation marks. The Readme file provided does not show quotation marks, but they were there on mine. -steam -game ep2 goes outside the quotation marks at the very end. The box titled "Target" in my Shortcut properties looked like this before I modifed it: "H:DownloadsGamesHalf.Life.2.Episode.Two-Unleashedhalf-life 2 episode twohl2.exe" And it looked like this after I got it sucessfully modifed: "H:DownloadsGamesHalf.Life.2.Episode.Two-Unleashedhalf-life 2 episode twohl2.exe" -steam -game ep2 Hope this helps! Quoting Comment #23693 what does he mean by add parameter -steam -game ep2 wth? hey i have some problem i have installed GAme Portal it says to add paramater (hl2.exe" -steam -game portal) i cant put it but i can put this (hl2.exe -steam -game portal) but when i double click this shotcut it say [ MountAppFilesystem() failed ] in read me its written to change the target box of shotcut to- this "X:yourinstallation directoryportalhl2.exe -steam -game portal" to "X:yourinstallation directoryportalhl2.exe" -steam -game portal but it doest works :( please help

Create a shortcut to this icon and place it on your desktop, then right-click on the shortcut (not the original icon) and choose "Properties" With properties open, you will need to add the -steam -game ep2 thing to the little box titled "Target" Just type it in or cut and paste from the Readme file provided. Quoting Comment #23693 what does he mean by add parameter -steam -game ep2 wth? i done you said but after uses the shortcut appear a message : MountAppFilesystem() failed . I need to have installed original half life and episode one to get episode two to work ? Best regards, Leon

Quoting Comment #23693 what does he mean by add parameter -steam -game ep2 wth? i done you said but after uses the shortcut appear a message : MountAppFilesystem() failed . I need to have installed original half life and episode one to get episode two to work ? Best regards, Leon Found the solution... Unpack the **.rar file, not the **.r00 or any other number. They are misssing some .gcf files after you unrar. The game is sweet... I am going to seed forever...

Oct 11 2007 at 19:49 by mike46669 (mininova.org)as it is a good deal, Its just funny to see someone that is a member of a torrent site complaining about people not buying something.. holy hypocrite batman
-
Oct 11 2007 at 20:11 by pazzescobf (mininova.org)does i need something to run it? dont say me just buy the game
-
Oct 11 2007 at 20:35 by Sinysh (mininova.org)I like torrents, but i also think some games are worth buying, orange box is like 4-5 games in 1 for the prize of 1, so i bought it first game ive bought in years
-
Oct 11 2007 at 21:00 by OneOfOne (mininova.org)I agree with skydragon. they say there is no honor among thieves and you all prove it. if something is a good deal then buy it. I d/l just like the rest of you. I draw the line on fresh movies in theaters. these people deserve a chance to make some money. cams are just sad. I am not on a soap box as I am no better than the rest of you. but for those who make no attempt at ever being legit as supporting the outfits who produce games music and movies, your e the filth thats going to ends all of our 'free' rides.

Tue Apr 01, 2008 4:40 am by unger (isohunt.com)Quoting Comment #26143 I had problems with the -steam -game ep2 thing at first too. Quoting Comment #23693 what does he mean by add parameter -steam -game ep2 wth? i done you said but after uses the shortcut appear a message : MountAppFilesystem() failed . I need to have installed original half life and episode one to get episode two to work ? Best regards, Leon

Wed May 28, 2008 1:51 pm by Arty69 (isohunt.com)I have extracted the archive as said, added the needed line to the shortcut, but as people say above, I get "MountAppFilesystem() failed" error. What do we do wrong? Is there anything we have to do with the *.gcf files, or do we just leave them in the extracted dir?
