I GOT IT! In case anyone has this annoying problem, you need to install the program through CD, not through your hard drive or you will get stuck when prompted for CD2.

Ok so i've downloaded this and and installed it and it kept asking to insert "finale d2" which i assume bandstuff mentioned in comment 4 & 5 of the other torrent for this program. i then got poweriso so i could put the program on cd-r as stated in comment 3 but i still get the same message. bandstuff, is there anything else you did or have i missed something??????

does anyone know if this version is of the hybrid cd that contains the mac and pc version on the same disk? (usually all finale disk's are hybrids...) i want to download it and install it on my mac, but before i spent the time, i thought i would see if anyone knows if it is the hybrid install cd or just the windows version... i'm assuming that given that it's almost 2 gigs that it prolly is... thanks in advance though for anyone that can help me out!

OK for those of you with CD2 & CD3 installation issues: here's what you do....mount all 3 disc images at once, either via the Finder, Disk Utility or Toast (or other disc burning software)...with all 3 CD's mounted the installer software will automatically proceed to the next disc without asking. voila!

vidviewer9: how did you get the keygen to work? i can't get Finale to accept the serial# and/or auth. code generated by the keygen...I didn't burn individual discs, i just mounted all 3 at once and installed off my harddrive (could that affect it?)....the program works fine etc, as well as the Garritan, but i just can't get the auth. to complete. maybe you could post your step-by-step success story?

jasonrich69e: it's 2GB b/c of the included Garritan LIbraries...as far as i saw, it was only the Mac version, not hybrid

Authorization 1.After installation is completed open up Finale from the desktop. It should say something about registering the product. Select the option that says manual registration and includes a phone option. 2.It should present you with a software user code in bold letters. 3.Open the keygen program and enter the software user code into the keygen. It will then present you with a serial number and authorization code. The Top box is the Serial Number and the bottom is the Authorization Code. 4.Copy and paste the codes into the registration form to register Finale and get access to all of the features.

It is very important to use a program to burn the discs that allows you to name the disc. If you do not name them Finale 2008 Finale d2 and Finale d3 they will not work correctly

Hi Vidviewer9! Many thanks for your advise, I named the disk according that you wrote in your comment and Finale load very well all the files from the Finale disk d2 and disk d3. Finale works well in Synthesizer mode. All the VST- instruments appear in Kontakt Players window, but helas, I don't hear anything in the speakers when I put the Finale in VST-mode, in despite that I tried with different Audio set-ups: first with Direct Sound, after that with Sound Blaster wave mode. When I open Kontakt Player and I click with the mose on the keyboard, I see clear different twinkles in the Kontakt Players over part. That prove that is an activity in Kontakt Player, but is not enough, I wonder why I don't hear any sound?

Thanks to Vidviewer9 . It is the good way . You first extract the "daa" files with "PowerIso" software. Each one in a different repertory. Then you burn 3 different cds of the extracted files and you name them as Vidviewer9 said. The Keygen is correct if you choose the phone option.More correct than my poor English.... oeso.

Folks, an easer way to install this AND the Garritan pack do this: After you downloaded all, proceed with POWERISO to : a) Convert the daa files to ISO or better yet (make a new folder so not to rewrite the original files ) b) Make the daa images to ISO images with POWERISO, in Tools,Make CD/DVDImage Files (you will keep the original files in this option) Remember the image files (ISO) must have these names changed to the iso format: MakeMusic Finale 2008 CD1.daa to Finale 2008.iso MakeMusic Finale 2008 CD2.daa to Finale cd2.iso MakeMusic Finale 2008 CD3.daa to Finale cd3.iso After all this, use Daemon or MagicDisk, Mount the imagefile Finale 2008.ISO, register using the Crack, and when the setup ask for disk2 and on unmount and mount the next iso.... It worked for me, and didnt waste the 3 cd...... Good Luck !
