Una de las sagas más clásicas de la estrategia vuelve a PC con una entrega que espera satisfacer a la amplia base de seguidores a la par que atraer a nuevos jugadores. No son pocos los años que hace que los jugadores de PC disfrutan de la franquicia Settlers y su desarrolladora, Blue Byte, se encuentra en estos momentos acuñando una nueva entrega de la saga tras Heritage of Kings. Aunque es un título que a pocos deja indiferente, pocos dudan de que su comunidad de seguidores es una de las más fieles que existe y resiste las embestidas con las que buena parte de la crítica especializada ha ido azotando lanzamiento tras lanzamiento. En septiembre de este mismo año, y con grandes esperanzas puestas por parte de muchos jugadores, se lanzará al mercado “Rise of the Empire” del que ya se ha distribuido un teaser que en poco más de un minuto y medio parece sentar bien las bases de lo que va a pretender Ubisoft con el juego. Lo primero, aunque parece una obviedad, es que gráficamente lucirá muy bien si atendemos a las imágenes que acompañan al juego, con ese estilo de dibujo animado tan característico. Settlers: Rise of the Empire es un nuevo juego de estrategia en el que nuestro objetivo será construir grandes ciudades en la época medieval en el sentido amplio de la palabra. Es decir, deberemos no solamente construir y listos sino que deberemos velar por el buen funcionamiento de todos las secciones posibles que hacen que una urbe funcione, y podremos comprobar los progresos de nuestras acciones de una forma muy gráfica y visual, otorgando una mayor sensación de control del juego. Al igual que en otros simuladores urbanos, Rise of the Empire tratará de provocar al jugador para que cuide su economía. Una economía sostenible es la base para el progreso y no será la excepción de este juego, algo que viene sucediendo desde el primero de la saga. Evidentemente deberemos escuchar a nuestros ciudadanos que mantendrán su vida independiente en todo momento, dando la imagen de que la ciudad se mueve incluso si nosotros no hacemos nada al respecto. Por supuesto existen las preocupaciones básicas que habrá que atender: alimentación, entretenimiento, seguridad, necesidades materiales, control de límites y excesos de producción, desequilibrios del balance de materias primas, control del comercio, explotación de los recursos naturales, defensa frente ataques de otras urbes, etc. En definitiva, las preocupaciones del día a día que encuentra cualquier líder de una civilización, pero en esta ocasión desde un punto de vista mucho más cercano y menos impersonal.

Okay, easiest way to get this to install if you get errors while trying to launch the setup. Mount with Daemon Pro Right Click the Virtual drive you mounted it on and go to File Explorer Copy the contents of the image from the file explorer window Paste these into a folder on your desktop Launch the setup exe in the setup folder Install and do not launch game when installation is done Go to megagames.com and get the crack and replace the files in the bin folder of the games root directory Create a shortcut to the exe in the bin folder on your desktop and use this shortcut to launch the game. Then you can delete the folder you pasted the files into off your desktop and you can unmount the image and play the game. If you do not create a new shortcut to that specific exe it will autoupdate the game and then the crack will not work.

It works.No key needed, crack works perfectly. Only what you have to do is: mount it with DAEMON, run install.exe to install the game, go to bin folder and paste the crack files (BBLa51.dll, cld.dll), run the game (prompt all updates and patches), otherwise you will have to deal with r6002 error. Thanks for a great upload, simple intall, I enjoy the game.

At first the game was running perfectly fine, but over sudden it started asking me to insert original DVD. I managed to fix this problem by reinstalling the game. Now I have a new one. I'm able to play the game and save it but every time I want to Upload my previously saved game I'm getting this error "CbinarySerializationReader::ReadBeginOfBlock(): Unsupported version!". Download and install Patch update to v1.5 from ubisoft or anywhere you find it. 4. Download The Settlers: Rise of an Empire [EURO] No-DVD/Fixed Image #1 from gamecopyworld 5. Set number of devices in DT Lite v4.12.3 to 2 and mount both the gamecopyworld mds file and the CloneCD mds file. 6. Run Settlers6.exe in the 'THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\extra1\bin' directory and the Eastern Realm should now work.

I'm getting asked to insert "the original Settlers CD" and ideas? any people go the same thing and managed to fix it? i've installed it using daemon tools and have coppied the patch over.

Hello everyone, I also experienced the problem with "asking for the original CD" If you keep the image mounted in Daemon (has to be version 4.10 or newer)problem is solved. To solve the problem with the runtime error etc. , just dwnl. another patch from gamecopy world (the english one works for me.)

Hi, I'm have the same problem as commentor 53., Maluminum. My game plays the voices, menus, etc... but the field area comes up as black. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Can someone PLEASE help me?! On mission two, or on any custom game, after having bought something from an ally's storehouse more than once or twice, it won't let me buy again, which is necessary on mission two(buying salt). I can't do this, and other people on google have same problem without a solution. This is what I have done to get the game to work at all - 1) Install 2) Download and replace the .dll from Megagames 3) Get fixed .exe from game copy world 4) Patch 1.5 5) Patch 1.6 So I'm stuck entirely, can't get past. It works fine for me so far ( although I did not played much so far ) Here is what I did: 1) download this torrent 2) download 1.5 patch from some public server ~168 MB ( google it! ) 3) download 1.5 No-DVD patch from www.megagames.com ( http://www.megagames.com/cgi/download/download.cgi?action=search&category=cracks&search=SETTLERS.6.ROAE.V1.5.4279.0.ALL.RELOADED.NOCD.ZIP ) 4) install the game + make sure it does not ever gain internet access! 5) install the 1.5 patch 6) delete shortcut on desktop ( and start menu if you wish ) 7) replace exe file in base\bin folder inside game folder and put shortcut to THAT exe file to your desktop ( and start menu ) 8) Run game it even runs without mounted disk!

for games requiring 2 cd mounts, never mount both cd`s at once...just cd1 first, then when it says insert cd2 just alt+tab to ur desktop and unmount cd1 and re-mount cd2...Wait for and then close the autorun feature and alt+tab back to game...then click o.k.. it will finish installation...and not miss any files...it works fine...i learned this the hard way as some games work with boith mounted and newer games don`t..I hope this was helpfulll

also u must google "settlers-rise of an Empire no cd-crack" for the link to gamecopyworld because the crak tht comes with it is not working..remember to copy and paste crack to base/bin directory..and click replace and move when it says it already exists...Simply trying to drag and drop the crack, usually does`nt work with new games...I hope everything works out so peeps can enjoy this great game...

I can attest that you let it update to 1.7 and run Settlers6MCE it'll work without crack and anything else, i'm not sure how to run the Eastern Empire Expansion though

Deamon tool works for me, BUT if ya read the comments but once update to 1.3 it does not work i've tried the cracks no help there! I've also tried using the serial provided here on post #9 can't find any others, when used i was forced out by host etc, best bet is to wait!!! extra help would be cool

Worked perfectly. Downloaded it mounted it with Alcohol 120 to install it disallowed access through windows fire wall to stop automatic updates copied over the crack file to the bin file downloaded the patches off the gamespot website and put the settler6mce file found in the bin file to the desktop to fix the enter original cd pop up. hope that helps

Oh sorry and to fix the r6002 error floating point not loaded once you have the game running you have to download this patch which has a new BBua51.dll file as the one the game came with does not work and replace it in the bin file

It wont mount in Vista. Put the Daemon tools mount file on an XP machine on the network and mount in the vista machine useing the file on the network. Works fine on vista 64.

It´s simple for everyone who have this error: "Error while parsing XML file "maps\singleplayer\me_fourkingdoms\MapData.xml" at line 1, column 37: Unexpected character! (STag)" -Install the game (dont bother to install crack´s yet) -Download and install V1.6 update -Go to Gamecopyworld and download Reloaded crack (date 01-06-2008), replace *.exe in Bin path. -Launch game and enjoy There is no need to copy *.dll, mount images, bla bla, just the reloaded exe. All maps working 100% using this method and torrent.

i found a sollution..... unpack, mount with d tools....install the game (dont run), (download The.Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire.FIX-CLONECD (from isohunt)) from this original file copy the cll thingy into base/bin in game directory and use the other file from this Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire.FIX-CLONECD folder and paste that also, delete shortcut from desktop and make a new one from the bin folder...run game (NO UPDATES ATALL NEED TO RUN BY DOING IT THIS WAY) hope this helps any1 who had the problems we did :D

i found a sollution..... unpack, mount with d tools....install the game (dont run), (download The.Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire.FIX-CLONECD (from isohunt)) from this original file copy the cll thingy into base/bin in game directory and use the other file from this Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire.FIX-CLONECD folder and paste that also, delete shortcut from desktop and make a new one from the bin folder...run game (NO UPDATES ATALL NEED TO RUN BY DOING IT THIS WAY) hope this helps any1 who had the problems we did :D

ahhh no problem now. I was mounting it on SCSI... as soon as I changed and mounted it on IDE. All was good. sick nuts.

I personally did not get the crack to work that this torrent came with but i went to http://www.gamecopyworld.com and searched for the crack for the game, and the only one that i was able to make work was this NO-DVD Fixed Image file. The Settlers: Rise of an Empire [EURO] No-DVD/Fixed Image #1 Download the image file and mount it with either Deamon Tools, or Alcohol 120%. I prefer Either one of these. If you ever get the insert CD/DVD message , just run Deamon Tools, or Alcohol 120% and remount the Fixed Image again. Now it works for me every time. Thanks

One more thing if you start the game from the start menu! it starts updating first, this will take some time depending on your connection speed! But if you start the game from the shortcut you made it wont update! going too update and see if it still works!
