Just like this After using some time on getting this thing to finally work. 1. Download the torrent from Clonecd. - In the downloaded files there are many files. (Motsly .rar files) 2. Unrar one of the files. For example the first .rar file. 3. Now a folder called: Patch has appared. 4. Go into this folder and you will find: BBLua51.dll and cld.dll. (We will leave this folder for later) 4. Now, download the newest update of Deamon Tools. 5. Go to Deamon Tools. Find the: The.Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire-CLONECD, Folder. In thid folder there will only be shown: ccd-set6.mds and Patch. 6. Mount the: ccd-set6.mds. 7. Go to: My computer and right-click on the: THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire (H:) and press: open. 8. Press the: Setup and install the game. 9. Go into the downloaded folder: The.Settlers.VI.Rise.Of.An.Empire-CLONECD 10. Go into the: Patch, folder. 11. Copie: BBLua51.dll and cld.dll. 12. Now, go to my computer, click on: Program Files, click on: Ubisoft, go into: THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire, click on: Base, go into: bin and then paste: BBLua51.dll and cld.dll. into the bin folder. 13. Hi after reviewing this and countless other sites i finally managed to get it to work. None of the suggestions thus far state the exact methods so here goes. First i suggest yuo download the settlers 6 + cd clone verios thats out there. Personally i got it from alt.binaries.cd.image as im nota fan of slow torrents. This for me seemed to be the stumbling block. I had downloaded a version without the crack and downloaded the crack later after coming here but it seems these two were incompatible no matter how many times i tried and followed all the instructins. So if yuo have a version without the patch i suggest just burning it to a CD/dvd (i used nero) and deleteing/uninstalling it from yuor comp as it prob aint gonna work. Once i downloaded the other verion it was a simple case of Install copy patch to Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\base\bin start from icon in the same location play game. Now i should point out that as i?d been mucking about for hours when i loaded the game i had the previously burned verion of settlers 6 in my ?real? dvd drive and the mounted verion from DT. Also i had demon tools lite 4.12 (after reading the posts here id downloaded it) not sure if it is necessary to update demon tools (previously had 4.05 i think) or to have the burned verion in the actual dvd drive but just in case. Also i suggest either disconnecting when installing/playing or immediatly remove the update program from Ubisoft\THE SETTLERS - Rise of an Empire\base\support\GameUpdate\ S6GameUpdate This git makes settlers auto update and then asks for serial number and online activiation once installed. As no-one has figured out how to get round this i suggest not allowing it to update (also there does not seem to be an option to stop the update apart from deleting this program). Hope this helps

ATENCION: ITS NO a crack. Its a FIX. Work fine if you play whit the image mount in the virtual drive. Use Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools 4.

Ok, I downloaded the CloneCD [torrentzilla.org] then it didnt work now I downloaded this FIX but i dont know what to do with the file... I have got all the downloaded files in say .../settlers/ what to do with the .dll file? should i just put it in a new map .../settlers/base/bin and then extract? or what? This one works If it works for a while but then you start getting the CD/DVD message just remount the img a time or two & close the game menu window & retry untill it boots up. Hope this helps

Ok, I downloaded and used this fix ( from another site, but the same files) and it worked like a charm. Today, I try to start the game and I get the "please insert the right disc" message. SO it seems there is still something wrong with this fix. Anyone have the same problems or an idea how to fix this?

I got it to work fine until the actual campaign starts. I cant see anything but the forground, like the guy talking but no map and play area and I dont know why or how to fix it!! Help please!

Fix worked at first. After a time everything but the foreground gets black. It's ok for a while when I reload the game, but it's hardly playable. I hope they fix this fix soon.

Ajdi, Mine did that as well, but when I fixed the video settings to the lowest level it was playable but didnt look very good. I think that it is my video card, even though its less than a year old! Ive read on many sites that this game is very demanding on the video card. Maybe you need a new one too?
