It doesn't easily convert, mainly because the video inside the mkv is h264 format. I don't know why anyone would want an mkv.

There's no need to convert. Just play it with free VLC media player. You can download it from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It plays almost all formats. It also plays image files (like bin and iso) directly without having to burn the image first. I really recommend it. Oh and thanks uploader! Cheers!

if u have the codec u can watch it on windows media player..i have k-lite codec pack and watched it on WMP....and what a great epsiod this is....i hope it runs for a long long time

Most codec packs are evil because they're made by people who just throw things together. Get CCCP b/c it's made by people who know what they're doing. CCCP alone will allow x264 playback or get VLC+matroska splitter. End of story, xvid is on it's way out the door. http://www.cccp-project.net/
