Great app, works well, you must first copy the file "vegas802.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0" or wherever your install directory was. Then make a shortcut of "vegas802.exe" on your desktop as it is the only on that will work. don't run "vegas80.exe" as it will ask for registration. Hope it helps :D

If it can't find a file while clicking the 'vegas802' on your desktop, you'll just have to go to \Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0 (or wherever it was installed) and launch 'vegas802' from there. It may be a pain, but it does work.

I have vegas pro 8 that fully works; love it; has all the bells and whistles. Now is there a link for the lowest price. I will buy because it is good. This is only worth the crack. But I've got mine to work even with media manager, transitions, and video fx. I had posted a 12-step comment and it told me that it was too long and so all that typing was gone and useless . So, I'll try again.

Go here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/step2.asp?DID=776 NOTE: this is if you want media manager. 6. Grab yourself a drink. 7. Install "media manager". 8. Make sure that all files are in their correct directories. 9. Open program (without crack) and CHECK. Make sure that everything is there. 10. Now close program and rename crack to "vegas80.exe" (without quotations) 11. Replace original file with crack. Meaning, go to: Program Files > Sony > Vegas Pro 8.0 12. Enjoy, 'cause you're finished! UPDATE: just found out that the crack will not allow the transitions and video fx to work. (guess i just got lucky earlier...) if you want those features, you need to follow the 30-day trial or find a keygen. hopefully someone will find that and share.

If I start program from proper icon it's OK but if I start from the copied exe then no transitions or video fx. Anybody help.
