Actors Nikki Grace and Devon Berk start shooting a new film "On High in Blue Tomorrows". Immersing in the role, Nikki’s life changes dramatically: she ceases to understand where reality ends and begins the movie. Suddenly, Nikki learns that she is not the first performer of the role. Several years ago, shooting broke down after the main actors were found dead. But even more worried about Nikki that her character becomes more real than she is... "Inland Empire" - Rubik cube, from Lynch to guess those who are looking anywhere and everywhere rational explanation.
