Following hybrids steps worked for me... Running it in windows 7 with no issues. hybridmoments82 at 2008-05-18 05:59 CET: For those of you still having trouble with the installation, here's the solution: Everything's already installed when it asks you for the game disc (or the non-backup disc, for those of you using a virtual drive). So your punishment for not turning up a game disc is the deletion of all it installed. This can be avoided by changing the name of your brand new Bioshock directory to something other than Bioshock (Bioshoc, or Bioshock1 for example). Then, when you click cancel, it removes nothing because no Bioshock directory exists on your computer anymore. Copy the shit in your crack directory to Bioshock/Builds/Release, run the registry entries, and thus you will have a PERFECT running copy of Bioshock! Thanks from Dirty Jersey, topetorrent!!

can anyone help, after installing and following the crack readme, the game starts it's opening and makes it to the 2k boston/australia logos, and then the screen goes black like it's loading to the game's main menu, then i get a fatal error message and the thing closes before i can even play the game. i'm running a comp that definately handles this game. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

yeah it asks for the real dvd i have used the crack like the info says i have copied "paul.dll" & "Boishock.exe" in the folder releas and put there secu.eg.reg too Now the installation asks for a dvd so i run secu.eg.reg as the info says it tells me it ha put it in some kind of regestration or somthing like that put nothing happens it stuns there and asks for a dvd. and bioshock.exe doesn't run pleas help me

no problems installing the game . just downloded the dummy image from "gamecopyworld.com" and mounted it with daemon tools lite with default settings and installation completed with updates and cracked it and thats it.... remember installing the game from hard disk with only dummy image mounted.

If you're having an issue with that patch/wrong cd that pops in just before the installation is complete,here's what you should do . this tip is not from me , so all the credit goes to Truthy: "after the install when the setup wants to update (SecureRom check) rename your game folder temporarily to something else (so it won't get deleted, like someone wrote before) afterwards restore the name. by then everything except the bioshock.exe and the registry entries is installed. copy the reg (from the crack folder) to your game dir and execute it. the same for paul.dll and the exe. now you u r ready to play v1.0 - applying the v1.1 uncut international patch and the v1.1 crack from GCW afterwards also works " This copy works great ,and it's real multi Hope it helps , gl&hf~ and thx to the uploader ofc :>

Arff mini-image works y have just invert the order of mounting iso/mds ... Complete mdf/mds(iso for another release) in the first virtual drive and mini-image mds in the second

I found how to avoid update patch ! When the securom error pop, do an alt-tab, and copy the 2k games folder. When you pressed ok from the securom error, your original 2k games folder is removed. Rename your folder copy, copy paul.dll and bioshock.exe from the crack folder (in the iso) to the c:\program files\2k games\bioshock\Builds\Release folder Launch secu.eg.reg, then launch bioshock.exe Enjoy (I hope you understood my bad english, feel free to correct my post)

Anyone using alkyproject DX10 for xp having problems and game wont start type this in run %windir%\system32 or go to c:\windows\system32\ and then delete the file nucleus.dll gutanteed fix if ur game wont start and u installed it right!
