I'm having the some problem as sonamsairu (post on 07/09/04). I have Medieval II ver. 1.1 installed. It works. I can play it. I mount the Kingdoms .iso, the splash screen come up, I click 'Install", InstallShield starts, then I get the error message "Kingdoms requires Medieval II: Total War to be installed." Any suggestions?? I don't wanna hear, 'you're doing something wrong.' To whoever said that, fuck you. If I'm doing something wrong, tell me what the fuck it is.

This works perfectly for me. Here is what I did: 1) Installed the original RELOADED version 2) Updated that to 1.2 (from GamersHell) 3) Installed Kingdoms (this one) 4) copied the Kingdoms crack (on DVD 2) 5) copied the SkidRow 1.3 original crack (GameCopyWorld) Kingdoms will update your 1.2 to 1.3 when you install, that's why you use the 1.3 SkidRow crack at the end, 1.2 is also required for 1.3, that's why you install it before Kingdoms. You don't need fucking Yasu or anything like that, and nothing has to be mounted to play. Also, to play the original, run medieval.exe, the created shortcut runs the launcher and that won't work. I hope that helps.

Great game ! It took some to install it because of all the patches, but that's ok since it's the best total war game so far. It's got a lot of variety and also "heroes" like William Wallace and Richard the Lionheart, which has got their own character on the battlefield.

Hey , come one seed. I'll tell you how fix it , worked for me. Download Medieval 2 Total War and install it, then download this expansion for it, you need first to have medieval 2 total war. Then you unpack the both DVD's with Winrar. When you unpacked them you mount with Deamon Tools. After you mounted wait and then press install. When you pressed next and started installing , you will have to install 3 patches. OBS: LET the patches LOAD and give them time. Don't cancel or you'll have to install them all manualy and thats a real pain! When you installed the patch automatic you will start installing the game. When its done go to my computer and explore the dvd 2 , and in the folder called fairfox and there you will find the crack , copy it and replace the orginal in the games exe , kingdom.exe needs to be replaced. And voila , you can play and your done. Now please seed !

sia 213 sounds like you dont have a no cd exe installed an iso wont overide all protection systems in addition some protections will look for a mounting engine, so you may have to use an alternate mount engine .i.e. some games will look for daemon tools whether you have an image on it or not always use a no cd exe instead if you can hope this helps

sia 213 and whoever else sounds like you have not installed the no cd exe an image will not defeat all copy protections, in addition, some protections will look for a mounting engine and not allow the game to run - even if there is no image mounted! This is why daemon has options to hide from various protections, however some games will seek out log files instead rendering even daemon obsolete (you have to shut it down or even remove), this is also the reason why we have so many mount engines (so they cant stop us) always use a no cd exe if you can, but scan them first for viruses obviously (good place to hide) be aware - no cd exe will show up in log files if error is encountered so turn off reporting to microsoft or clean logs instead before reporting images are a last resort - space reasons

oook, got it working :-) 7-zip sucks, use Win rar next time plz so you grab 7-zip here 7-zip and you extract, now do this in a seperate folder. ok so once it starts extracting it will ask you a silly question, would you like to replace flt-twk1.iso with flt-twk1.iso ???? heres the trick, you say NO! and it works, itl give you 1 msg saying errors, but so far it mounts with D-tools if you say yes, it makes you a nice broken iso, or even better a 0bytes iso try it a few times it should work peace and thanks CRacker for the File
