Help me please.This problem is killing me I'm having a real serious problem when running the exe. file,I get the message "C:/Program Files/2K Games/BioShock/Builds/Release/Bioshock.exe The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is inncorrect" Now I've known it has been mentioned before on these 97 pages...and I followed the instructions how he fixed the problem the best I could(I'm no cracker or fixer elite if you know what I mean) and I've really tried loads of stuff trying to fix it but it just doesn't seem to work. Everything has pretty much worked until this stage,when it's supposed to be working,and even a more annoying problem is that hardly anyone seem to have this problem so.. My best guesses is that I'm running on OP Vista Home,and that might be fucking it up...I know you guys are real pro's when it comes to this,so any help would be apprichiated :) Thanks

Ah perfect,I got past the side-by-side configuration shit...now I'm on the problem where the screen freezes just after I launch the game and it says that bioshock has stopped working...anyway thanks for the help mate,it worked.Gona work my ass off to get this game working now that I know it can

Now I resintalled bioshock and placed thecrack etc and now getting this message "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." HELP anyone Is it something to do with the secu.eg registry entry created by darkcoder?

It`s real, NOT a fake and it`s multi-language the crackfile on Demonoid is the original exe and works only with the direct to drive version and not with other versions of the game. Wait 1 day and the crack for all versions will be found on http://www.gamecopyworld.com/

I first of all unrar the file,after I start the setup.exe,after the installation(at the end)it requires the original dvd...otherwise the installation does not terminate,

Ok, I haven't checked if the game actually does anything yet, but I figured I'd post for everyone that had as much trouble with this as me. First of all, as soon as you get the game go to the link quiche posted and get the file he said. Extract it, and mount it (I used DT4.08). While that's mounted in DT, open the .rar file and run the setup.exe file. It will install, and when it gets to the patch check part it will read that you "have the dvd in the drive" because of mini image. That's all it takes to install.

Okay, so, there's not much point in installing. The games online activation makes it nigh impossible to generate a key. Hopefully there'll be something soon, but if not 2k said they're getting rid of the online activation "later." So, you might be better off waiting 'til then.

anyone else got problems with the auto updater? after the acutal install when i try to download the patch after 3 tries it fail and saying it can't create file to destantion.
