No. But if you're smart enough, you'll find how to get into a house. When you are in a house/lot, "commands" are in english/language you chose when you installed the sims 2.

there is one explaination from programmer: The game is INCOMPATIBLE to Vista. If you're gamer, make yourself a Dual-Boot System (with two hard disks). One of the operating systems must be Windows XP 32-bit edition. About 5% of the games DO NOT support Vista (no matter the 32/64-bit platform).

Games + Vista = No That children is how most of the internet world hates vista. Because when you mess with a gamers games, ITS WAR!! Their commercial still makes me laugh. Yeah, its nice while BROWSING! Yeah, can you tell I "love" vista? ;D

Windows Vista sucks, and this is one of the major reasons why. Do yourself a favor, get rid of Vista and [re-]install XP. Find the Corporate Edition, that one is amazing, doesn't need activation, and anything you can do in Vista, you can do in XP. Screen savers, fonts, themes, windows, color schemes, tools, everything. Vista = useless.

Sorry burst your bubble guys, but every single game I've ever tried has worked for me on Vista. Of course not including home-made crap like this one here, in which case you can't blame the OS for the programmer's mistakes. Most of you Vista haters haven't even tried the whole OS. It's rather sad, I think. The same thing happened with XP back in the days, so its nothing new. Either get used to it or go back to Windows 95 and stop complaining.

To be honest, all you people that are doing nothing but bitching and whining about vista not working with anything and that vista sucks, your dumb asses. if you have vista and your having a problem with ANY program, right click it and run it as admin or go into properties and in the compatibility tab, check run in compatibility mode, and there you go. And as for breathoffire that popped up for me to on a few games, but I continued anyways and they have all worked fine for me.

@ breathoffire... No problem man, U just go to maxis site and dl patches to sims 2 and all your exp-packs. Then I worked for me... BTW, U will need the fourth CD or a DVD of Sims 2 (original) and from all others. So don´t delete your ISO-files ;) (I did, and I was pretty fucking annoyned)

I finished downloading this like 3 weeks ago, and finally got bored enough to load it, But I loaded it when I already had the current the sims 2 game.. (every EP and every Stuff pack) so it just basicly over righted it.. so I lost just about everything (Yey for backups lol) but didn't end well, I haven't found anything majorly different just 2 towns and thats basicly it (didn't do a full search) but it's not that big of a thing.. You'd be better off just downloading some shit from sites..

I've tried vista, and it reminds me of a firewall called comodo. Sure, it works, it prevents viruses near 95%! But it does that by saying "You wanna run this setup? Yes No" and then, "You want file [insert here] to be installed into [insert here] ? Yes No" It's the same with Vista. You will have a pain trying to share files, because Vista bitches about the smallest things, and many applications are near inoperable with it. Sure, Halo 2 was optimized for it, but who funds Halo 2? If you want something like Vista, but without the errors, I recommend windows 7 beta. It's constantly called "what vista should have been" because instead of adding a few security things and making programs not work with xp, they actually reworked the programming and tried to make it a better experience. The beta is also free, and they even just released a Release Client as well. So before you get on your pedestal with Vista, look at Windows 7 and see the difference.

yeah to confirm.. The game is a standalone, meaning that its the entire game (sims 2) inc an little addon (naked sims). Its in Russian. You can DL the addon from alot of website and its not 3.5gig or in russian (obviously).

Di everyone else get a NRG file? and only one file? I mounted it in Daeomon tools but it wont run autmatically so i go onto my computer and try to load it manually but it says "Windows cannot read from the disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows" Obviously the CD drive is a virtual one but Daeomon tools works for me with other programmes. Does anyone know what to do?
