its good/ and clean.. i scanned it with bitdefender... then i also scan it with nod32.. no virus found,, dnt use avg.. AVG s.u.c.k.s. In 2006 avg was the best, last year they are very unuseful.. A simple trojan can penetrate with that.. better use Nod32,Kaspersky or Bitdefender.. "the Big 3"

Hi, I wanted to say thanks, first of all. Everything works great and now that I've changed the setup for the keyboard, I can work it better. I've never played an egoshooter on a keyboard before, so you'll have to forgive my stupid question. I'd be really thankful if someone could answer, though. I have a little trouble exiting the game. ESC doesn't work, so... so far I've just exited via the Windows key and then via Taskmaster. Embarrassing, but I couldn't find the proper key - and I'm almost 100% sure that I tried them all. i havent seen this problem yet but when i go to the menu to combine items there is no way to exit the f-ing menu. I like the game but the controls are impossible. Problem: the cutscene at the end of chapter 1 and beginning of chapter two have no music, no sounds, and no characters. Basically, it is just the camera moving randomly around the room. I haven't tried any later cutscenes, but I suspect they are much of the same. Does anybody know of a solution to this problem?

It's PC version with mouse support, but it's absolutely awkward. Maybe it could be played only using keyboard (loading the game without mouse support gives access to keys customization panel) but i think a gamepad is needed anyway to play at it's best. This game isn't meant to be played with a mouse.

to some of you guys. If you use µtorrent: Go to preferences/bandwidth/max upload i got 100 max download i got 1500/press apply. Write down the original before changing!!!! Actualy you need to test ur upload and downloadspeed. Then give in the numbers as above! Go to speedguide in options menu.click button'test if port is forwarderded properly'.If its good there is an OK! If not you choose--->options/connection/ port used for incoming connections: press the button random port.do the speedguide test again.until its good(OK)dont forget to press apply after this all! i always try different numbers in up and download! you can see if it goes better or not try untill its fast enough.good luck!

Note: if you got a downloadspeed of example 400 then you need to type 400 dont type 800 or something because it wont help But when im testing my downloadspeed it has sometimes 1500 and other times 400 and even 20 kb/s But most of the time it got a downloadspeed of 200 and 400 and even 800 bb/s

This game is kinda hard to play without a Gamepad, you can see/change the games controls by: Start from Resident Evil 4 shortcut (NOT THE MOUSE SUPPORT) >Setup>GAMEPAD and KEYBOARD. i think ppl knows this alrdy. Yay it worked. How I started this game : I did NOT use Magic Iso or DaemonTools or something, I used 7zip, something almost everyone has. Right click the Iso, then click 'Extract To *make up folder name*' and then go to that folder. Then click the setup, follow the instructions and YAY! YOU'RE DONE That's how I did it. This is the real deal. Rogerlucas did an amazing job on this one. It's already patched to the latest version so there's no need to do anything but install and enjoy! Mouse support has been added, and so, no more keyboard mashing for those of you who hate that. Graphics have been tweaked to get more in-line with the PC's increased graphical prowess. The gameplay is breath-taking and exciting, not to mention really creepy! The characters and environments are--at some points--almost photo-realistic! And the sounds will make you jump in your seat more often than you would like to!

If you are using Windows Vista and while trying to run the game it says "game.exe has stopped working" this is how you can fix the issue.... You need to go to a web site called "www.gameburnworld.com/" and download the 'RESIDENT EVIL 4 v1.1.0 [EURO] FIXED EXE (6.50MB)' heres a quick link, http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/residentevil4biohazard4.shtml And Replace the same file in Resident Evil 4 Installed Directory with the download one & Enjoy!!!

Ok at first i'm having the same problem as casican, where after the first scene in the car i got a runtime error. Then i downloaded the dll file from the link given by DVD7227 and then everything is ok. For anyone who has problems: 1. Download the k-lite codec like what Karma221 said from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Codec_Pack_All_in_1.htm and install it 2. Update DirectX. Included in the mounted iso. 3. If you get a runtime c++ error, download dll files like DVD7227 said from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_30 4. Update your video card driver I hope it helps. First of all thanks for the game, works perfectly after installing the missing file. @UrbanKSE I remember having to run this game on intel graphic card.. By the way if the graphics don't bother you, just download a 1.0 Euro crack exe at gamecopyworld.com or gameburnworld.com. It will remove all the lighting effects but game will be considerably fast. If you want to revert back changes, you should backup the original game.exe. If you're having that visual c++ runtime error, it means that you have low RAM. I hope I helped..

Hey Roger I was wondering if you would be able to help me with a little problem. I load up the game fine but the mouse support does not work. Whenever I load the mouse support .exe for Resident Evil 4 and it still does not work. Any reason for why this would occur? I did remove the Loader.exe (thinking it was a virus, stupid me) Would this matter? Is the Loader.exe for the mouse support? If anyone is having issues after the install and it says missing d3dx9_30.dll, Please do the following. 1.Download the file at this link - http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_30 2.Open rar document and you should see 2 files. Leave the window open for a moment and goto My Computer, then the C: hard drive, then All Programs, Capcom, and finally Resident Evil 4 folder, you should see a bunch of files. 3.From the rar window that had the two files, drag the dll file and drop it to the Resident Evil folder. 4.Finally close all windows and Play the game should work. I have the original game. I downloaded that dll file when and now it only shows the Language menu. I select a language andit's black then it shows "game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close etc etc." I've tried various stuff and still no luck. it might be my pc or just the game. Help?

Bloodryne, heres a tip, READ THE COMMENTS! Seriously im amazed how some of you even got past the age of 1. As to the upload, thankyou roger, installs very easily, no problems, just mount, install and play .. as simple as that. Unfortunatly and through no fault of rogers, this is made for a PS2 and is unbarable on the PC, the controls are too far appart, you cant look up or down, you turn too slowly, you cant strafe and aiming with the gun it too sensitive. What a shame! I love resident evil! roll on a Ps3 version.

wierd why ppl are complaining about download speed, i started downloading 8 hours ago and im 70% done with less than 10 seeders...goin at 75+kbps and higher constant thanks Rog...(Bittorrent 6.0.3) Oh a last note. fast download, perfect game but sorry the pc version is **** besides from the blurry gameplay and cutscenes, the best thing about playing a game on the PC is using the mouse for quick movements but they didnt include mouse support so its ****... and the mouse support that someone made for the game isn't that great either ... its so **** (i think your better off using the keyboard) overall i think its better on gamecube/ps2 ... ugly port for PC

Works fine on PC . Mouse is also working fine . Graphics are great and the game is very tough . It is very difficult to control with keyboard , so I recommend to use a gamepad . THANK YOU very much Uploader .

Hey, I am looking for some help from anyone that has had the same problem or knows how to resolve it. I have the read all 150 posts to try and fix it. I am having the same problem as other people with the cut scenes. There is no character in the frame just an empty room and there is hardly any sound. I instaled the codecs, and direct x and updated my graphics card driver is updated ati mobility radeon x1600. any sugestions of what to try next?

Yeah, must agree with the people complaining about seeding, i will leave it on all night, and most of tomorrow seeding at about 80Kb/s restricted to only a few peers - so they download it faster. Cmon u leechers out there! the game doesn't require an internet connection, so you could always leave uTorrent/or whatever running in the background while u play? no? Yea that worked. It's a pain tho that file is a gig and a half. But I think it gives me even better quality cut scenes then I would have previously had. I only play the game at night when I'm alone to get the full effect! thanks dave and roger.

Is there any way to decrease the mouse aim speed? It is quite literally impossible to aim with the rifle. It skips about 30 meters with the slightest movement of the mouse. The game runs well other than this.

hey i got a solution for that runtime error. right click my computer select properties click advanced in performance click settings and click advanced in virtual memory click change thers a intial size and maximum size change it example ur space available is 6990 mb in intial size type 6000 in maximum size type 6000 again then click set and ok then u done!

I was looking for this before downloading: This is a confirmation hat this download is NOT a virus/trojan horse, i have just scanned and it is fine(although you may know that). If you want to change keyboard setting then go to wherever resident evil 4 is installed, click on setuptool,and you will see a bunch of stuff and and = beside it. right to the = are common controls. you may change these. Example: i changed (Run=DIK_RCONTROL) to (Run=DIK_LCONTROL) and it is now on left control.Once more thank you and keep uploading files

Someone pls pls PLEASE help! I downloaded the game, crack, patch everything. It`s working. I don`t have problems with that. But the lights keeps on flickering. My background keeps changing: dark-light-dark-light... etc. It`s just annoying and it`s screwing my eyes. The patch didn`t fix that. So what do I do?

Can anyone tell me if resident evil 4 works on Windows vista? Ive been told that I could tweak the settings to windows xp style with minor deviations to the game but otherwise still good quality. Im getting a bit nervous after hearing this cuz i really want this game for my laptop...i already have it for game cube...im pretty sure that my graphics card and my 3 GB of RAM is not going to be a problem...if someone can confirm to me if tweaking the settings can help me or if it is not even necessary to tweak the vista settings. Well. After reading countless forums and experimenting, i finally found a solution for the cutscene skipping problem. This is what worked for me: Install the latest k-lite codec (the full version with media player classic), then download and install http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Codec_Pack_All_in_1.htm Its an all in one codec pack. It should work properly after that. Worked for me

Honestly i say thnx to roger 4 tis game.but my suggestion is dont bother with it.maybe im doing something wrong and i doubt it,cuz other ppl mention some of the same things i see.but the game has horrible control,even with the mouse,the keyboard controls are not the conventional and their is no menu to indicate r adjust the keybaord controls.the graphics r shabby,maybe the cinimatics wud be better if i intalled that "PC HD HI-Res Movie...." some had mentioned.but othe than that the gameplay graphics is shabby.all in all the worstthing is the silly control,u cant move quickly to run,turn r when aiming,and the mouse sensitivity is too high,but i dont see any way to adjust that in controls.so just expressing my views,simply buy it 4 the console,cuz i know its a cool game.

ok her is for guys having d3dx9_30.dll file missing error try updating ur directx given in with the game (cheers to roger for this ) or simply try updating ur operating system.. for e.g i had XP service pack 1 before now i have sp2 it worked for me ! try using VISTA too, it comes with direct X 10 installed !! by the way RoGER for new game request i would like GTA SAN ANDREAS not a single decent copy available !!

OK, I googled and solved the problem, now i'm playing, but the frame rate is a bit slow, i'm plaing with an asus notebook u6sg-a1, core 2 duo, 3gb and nvidia 9300m g, i have already upgraded to the latest directx version, my driver is fine, i'm plugged to the ac for a better performance, before playing cpu usage is under 5%, everything is in order, i used to play with a ****py notebook and it had a nice performance, it was a HP core duo, 2gb and ati x1300 any suggestions?

by the way packmancito, yes, you can play the history of ada in re4, not with luis, and there's another special mission with ada, all of this when you fnish the game, and the coolest part is the mercenaries, it's all about kill tons of *******s, you can play with funk, leon, ada wesker and krauser, there are 4 scenarios, it's the coolest part of the game, enjoy it!!, i'll be seeding

ROGER i need your help !! i downloaded this game way back !! played it and i loved it .. u r a genius to get this online but unfortunately i had to format my windows due to sum problem, now wen i'm installing the game again it gives me "d3_d9_dx30.dll file missing error" i tried downloading the dll file available but to no good pls help me i love this game !! P.S. tell me how to update my graphic card driver..

recomended trailer is: asx-re4_eu110.exe ********************nt.com/asx+re4+eu110exe/;8779776;/fileinfo.html download, unrar, place trainer to game folder and run it before start ?game? or ?game_me? exe.´s. it have 10 shortcuts (F1-10)that you can use in the game to make the game less scary

its just asx-re4_eu110.exe so google.. sorry this direct link doesnt work but game is genious and perfectly work no need to crack, or leave mounted image to run, or update, so it works even paralely with this trainer... man i played 100s of games but this one is makes me so on great job and lot of thanks ,marijan

great game works fine with me Roger great set-up and packing all the info in 2.5gbs still gotta get used to the mouse control it is not accurate but better then arrows
