Files in this download are registering as Nutcracker Worm Viruses, under Avast! Anti virus. With the amount of people that are seeding this, i find it hard to believe i would be the only one to come across this. Anyone know anything about this? Avast is usually pretty trustworthy.

Ok, so just an update to clear some things up. After trying like five different torrents from different places, the official slackware links included, i get this same error from all. With a google search (yes, im ashamed i didn't do it before posting in the first place) it shows that this is actually a common problem with the slack 12 iso's. I never happened to me with 10 or 11, and as i said avast! is one of the more reliable AV's, so i suspected foul play. Im still going to check the md5's just to be on the safe side, but i would recommend that people not be too worried about downloading this ISO. Chances are good that it is just a false positive with all anti virus suites.

i`vw worked with slackware and i think is the best OS for a small or a big network ... A very good firewall and a lot of soft that saves me from a lot of work nice work )

Downloaded and burned to DVD-R. And it fell at the first hurdle....whether I burned it at 1 speed too high is unclear, and I don't want to waste another DVD-R on it until I can get comment from one of the other users that states it works. Never used Slack before, and it was recconmended to me by a friend.
