Yes, you can play online with this with any of the mods pre-installed. Most people play ZST maps for multiplayer STRAT (very competitive, requires alot of practice, but best fun, may be unfriendly to newcomers until they get good enough). You can join or host MPI (humans vs computer etc). Keep in mind, if you are hosting a server, ports will need to be forwarded to your PC (if you are behind a firewall) ... BZ2 multiplayer online uses ports" 17770-17772 TCP and UDP (forward these to your PC if you want to host BZ2 games .. joining games doesn't require this). There are not many of us online, but a few hundred of us continue to play faithfully (on and offline). Best real time strat w/ fps all in one. This install ROCKS!! It's a collection of most everything for Battlezone II version 1.2 in one simple time saving install. Battlezone II is simply the best game ever created! A true 1st person RTS loaded with more community content than what came with the original game! Build your own bases and defenses. Plan strategy to conquer your human or AI enemy base. Many many ships, buildings and even different races to choose from. All with thier own strengths and weaknesses. Many game modes exist, like Human vs Human (4 v 4) strategy, or Human VS AI, Instant Action or single player. All of which ROCKS~!~! LONG LIVE BATTLEZONE II !!!! Even modern games can't compare to the game play of BZ2. The best fun is ONLINE MULTIPLAYER, which still has a loyal following 8 years and counting!!
